The room was fine. The interaction with the front desk was not. When I checked in, the person was not welcoming. She wasn't mean or surly, but she definitely wasn't welcoming either. Then I was told there would be a $250 deposit because "I was a local from Columbia. And I might rent the room for 3-4 hours and trash it." When I asked what the deposit is for out of town stayers, it was $0. Also, I rented for 2 nights. The 2nd evening when I returned from work, my key card didn't work so I had to go to the front desk. That's when I found out the front desk check-in person only activated my card for 1 night. I've stayed at Best Western hotels before and they were fine. I won't be staying at this one again though.
