  • Questa bella casa in stile cottage francese personalizzata si trova in un allevamento di cavalli con 10 acri. La terra confina con la proprietà dei parchi della contea con accesso diretto al bacino idrico di Holloway e miglia di sentieri e corsi d'acqua. Cammina lungo il sentiero fino all'acqua o porta i tuoi cavalli, giochi d'acqua o semplicemente rilassati in questa casa meravigliosa e unica. La cucina è un sogno per i cuochi, i panorami sono magnifici da ogni finestra. Il bagno principale ha una vasca idromassaggio per due persone e un letto king size con salotto privato. Ci sono 2 caminetti a legna, grande veranda coperta anteriore e un ponte enorme. Situato in un allevamento di cavalli, possiamo ospitare i tuoi cavalli o organizzare una cavalcata privata per la famiglia. Pescare, fare un'escursione, una barca, una canoa, andare a cavallo o semplicemente godersi la meravigliosa compagnia che sicuramente vorrai portare con te per vivere questa fantastica avventura di campagna. Vicino a Frankenmuth, Birch Run e 90 minuti da Detroit, questa potrebbe diventare la tua casa lontano da casa per un fine settimana o una settimana. Accommodations were comfortable during a week long heat wave. Beaches and campground close by for easy back and forth trips. There was ample sleeping arrangements for our party of 8. Kitchen was large enough for cooking with a crowd of helpers. The animals were friendly and entertained our 2-1/2 yr old throughout the week.

We enjoyed our stay so much. We were in town for a funeral and it was so nice to watch all of the animals during our sad time. There was plenty of room for our family to visit and play games together. The host was very accommodating and good communication. Such a beautiful house. We loved everything about it

This rescue farm is amazing! Maurine, Emily and Angela are so hardworking to give the horses, goats, chickens, geese, turkeys, Sassafras the donkey, mini horses, cats and dogs a second chance! Maurine is quick to respond with any questions you may have before or while you’re there. The animals, the house (wonderfully equipped kitchen), the grounds…all a vibe for any animal lover or those who just want to be away from the hub bub while on vacation. We rarely left the farm because we were so relaxed and having such a great time. The river is an easy 10 min walk to the back of the property. If the river scene isn’t for you, Buttercup Beach is the sweetest beach (free!) - just a 6 min drive from the farm. You won’t regret staying here and if you’re like us, you’ll want to return.

Our family of thirteen had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful farmhouse. The host was incredibly accommodating and thoughtful, from delivering fresh coffee to the porch to welcoming our visiting family from Michigan. The house was extremely well stocked and comfortable, leaving us wanting for nothing. The kids were thrilled with all the animals, horses, peacocks, turkeys and goats. They were able to experience a working farm. The girls especially loved riding the horse. Swimming at the river behind the house that had a dock was also a highlight. It was truly a magical experience and we cannot recommend this place enough. During our ten day stay, we made memories that will last for a lifetime!

We absolutely loved our stay! Such a unique experience. It was like walking into your grandma's old farm house; eclectic but warm and cozy. We enjoyed sitting out on the front and back porch and taking it all in. Great kitchen setup and anything you need to care for family and guests while there. We appreciated having access to the grill as well. Our only issue was trying to balance or regulate the temperature between those sleeping upstairs (warm) and those sleeping in the basement (cold).Being entertained and greeted by all the animals made up for it all.

I really can’t summarize our trip in this small space. The home was beyond amazing! Everything you could possibly need Maurine has made available, the kitchen was so well stocked. Walking out the door and hearing little hoofs on the porch then turning around to see a little baby goat, what a wonderful feeling of tranquility. The variety of animals that we were able to interact with, is second to none. If we were able to go once a month just for the peaceful, calm feeling you would get would be like winning the lottery. This is a place that has it all and more!! Thanks again, Maurine, for being such an amazing house. WE WILL be seeing you again soon.

Gathered over the thanksgiving weekend to host family. It was wonderful. Outdoors offered animals and adventures. Inside was comfortable and great for a large gathering. Wonderful home and setting. Huge kitchen and open living area. Perfect for cooking and entertaining.

This property was great for a family to stay and enjoy each other. I have stayed at many other places and have never had a kitchen so well stocked. We cooked every night and never had trouble finding what we needed. The animals made us smile everyday. I could not have asked for a better place.

A lovely home on a working farm! Very unique enjoyable stay for our family of 5 and our dog. We all got to interact with turkeys, goats, ponies, horses, and a donkey! Never would have imagined that staying on a farm would interest us but it really was great. The biggest negative was waking early due to the noisy neighbor- the rooster. The other members of the family slept right through it. Plenty of seating and sleeping accomodations for larger groups. Beautiful windows looking out at the sunrise and deer playing in the back field. Thank you Maurine!

Shamrock Farm is lovely!

The hospitality and accommodations met my group’s needs nicely. The farm is excellent for animal lovers. The river provided added enjoyment.

We gather 4 households together. 7 adults and 4 kids (6-10 years old). This is our second time staying here. Absolutely love this place! I want to tell everyone how great it is but then I want to keep this place to ourselves.

Family Vacation 2023

Maurine was wonderful, the kids learned so much and we enjoyed ourselves so much we are going back next year. This was such a interesting vacation, being one with the animals. If you want a vacation that is a bit different, I highly recommend a stay here.

Home Away from Home

Maurine was wonderful. She was always available to answer questions. Her home is beautiful and so comfortable. This was a unique opportunity to interact with all of the rescue animals that are all so well cared for. We are looking forward to staying again in the future. Beautiful property with gorgeous animals and a hardworking, efficient property manager! My sisters and I had a great time on our yearly girl’s getaway and daytripped to Birch Run and Frankenmuth!
