This celebrity-owned local gem invites you to kick your feet up and relax on the porch or on the comfy couch with a cup of joe from the coffee bar. Although thoroughly updated, this lovely house retains its historical charm. We’ve added some state-of-the-art security features like motion-activated floodlights equipped with security cameras, Ring doorbell and camera, and smart keyless lock to make sure you feel safe while on vacation. You will appreciate the fenced-in yard and touches like robes, disposable slippers and a large separate laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer.

Living Areas
Entering the light-filled living room custom decorated with high-end farmhouse decor is like visiting an old friend. We’ve carefully chosen every detail to ensure it feels welcoming and homey. The large sofa has two built in recliners that recline flat as does the matching reclining rocker chair. They offer plenty of seating for a movie night on the flat-screen TV with streaming or for just curling up with a good read. Spend an evening listening to some golden oldies on the vintage record player and maybe get a dance in with your sweetheart. We even provide guaranteed boredom-busting board games suitable for the whole family.

Starting the morning with a coffee and taking in fresh air on the porch is a truly southern way to begin the day. It’s a peaceful place to unwind.

Kitchen & Dining
Our farmhouse-inspired kitchen is equipped with everything you need to create a culinary masterpiece or just fix a midnight snack. Enjoy a full suite of brand-new appliances and plenty of counter space. A complimentary coffee bar greets you in the morning, inviting you to start the day with your choice of beverage and flavored syrups. Grab a cup and head to the porch to enjoy some peace and quiet.

When it’s time to eat, there’s a dining table that seats six in the cozy dining room.

Bedrooms & Baths
The two sun-filled bedrooms feature premium luxury queen beds featuring luxurious premium pillow top mattresses, fluffy bedding and temperpedic pillows, light-blocking drapes, and ceiling fans. All bedding is down and feather free. The property is equipped with an inflatable toddler bed with soft, cozy bedding for your little one and a mini folding crib for your infant (please request these upon booking). Both bedrooms have Roku TVs with streaming capability. To really put you in vacation mode, we even provide waffle-weave spa robes for your comfort. Extra pillows and blankets are included for the few cold nights we get here.

The bathroom is conveniently located for both bedrooms and features a step in shower and includes lots of fluffy clean towels. Toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, disposable razors, and makeup towels are included as well.

Outdoor Amenities
The front porch of the house is the perfect spot to relax and people-watch. Choose from the gliding loveseat or the rocker chairs and really get into our Georgia way of life.

The inside of the home has no stairs, but there are four stairs leading to the house, making this house inaccessible to wheelchairs.

There are 2 motion-activated security cameras with floodlights at the front and back of the house as well as a Ring doorbell and a smart keyless lock on the front door.

We love babies and kids! We can provide a mini crib with mattress and mattress cover, and an inflatable toddler bed with cozy sheets and comforter just for your little one. Let us know in advance if you’ll need these and we will have them set up and ready for you.

We have put together a welcome book that lists nearby attractions with photos, directions, phone numbers, and prices.

In order to prevent locals from renting this property for parties, we require that all guests let us know where you are coming in from, and what brings you to Columbus. You must respond to both questions more than 24 hours prior to check in. Thanks!

Above all, our most important rule is that you enjoy your stay to the fullest, while treating our home with the same care and respect that you do yours.
With that said, here are the fine details:

1. No candles please. We have provided battery operated flameless candles for you to use.

2. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES/EVENTS/GATHERINGS.
You may be fined or evicted from the property for having parties or excessive guests that are disruptive to the neighbors, per Vrbo platform rules. Our home sleeps 4 people and is set up for max occupancy of 5. Any number of guests or visitors exceeding a total of 5 persons requires advance permission. Please ask before booking.

3. NO UNREGISTERED GUESTS ALLOWED IN RENTAL
The host must be made aware of everyone who will be inside the rental for insurance purposes. The number of people (adults and children) on the reservation are the only ones allowed to be in the rental without host's prior consent. ALL persons who will be in the rental must be listed on the reservation.

4. Please keep noise levels down after 10pm out of respect to the neighbors.

5. NO SMOKING inside the property. This includes vaping, cigarettes, marijuana, or illegal drug use. Guest agrees to a minimum $1200 deep cleaning fee if any evidence of smoking, including the smell of smoke, butts, ashes, video evidence, etc. after the guest/s (or their visitors) have checked out.
**If you are unable to refrain from smoking, please choose another property.

Please close and lock all doors when leaving the house.

6. Sorry, no pets allowed.

7. No food or drinks other than water in the bedrooms.

8. On occasion, your rental property may have in stock non-perishable food items such as spices and/or cooking oils. We cannot guarantee these items will be present for your stay nor do we replenish them.

Our home is supplied with bed, bath and kitchen linens. We also provide a starter kit of basic supply items which includes paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, trash bags, and laundry detergent. Once used, these items are not refilled by us during your stay.

To ensure reliable HVAC performance and consistent guest comfort, please do not set the thermostat below 72°.

How to Report Damage:
Please report accidental damage as soon as it occurs so we can assess and minimize the extent of the damages.

Guest is financially responsible for missing items. All items in the house are inventoried after each guest has checked out. All towels (including black makeup towels), blankets, pillows, record albums, phone chargers, baskets, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coasters, etc. belong to the property and may not be taken from the property at any time, removed, or borrowed.

We are not responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries, or illness that
occur while on the premises.

There are surveillance cameras that actively record motion and sound covering the Front Door area, Driveway area, and Backyard area. THESE HAVE BEEN INSTALLED FOR YOUR SECURITY AND SAFETY, as well as for the security of the property. Tampering or blocking the surveillance cameras is a major security violation which will result in the reservation being terminated immediately with no refund.

Guest agrees to allow Vrbo to charge their credit card for a cleaning fee of $500 if there is evidence of any of the above rules broken. This is in addition to the $1200 fee for smoking. Breaking any house rule is grounds for immediate eviction from the rental.

When checking out, please put all used towels and robes in the shower, put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it, and place trash in black bin outside. Please do not leave any food items in the kitchen; please throw them away prior to checking out. Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and notify host of your departure.
