This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
I booked my reservation through Expedia, and when I arrived to check in, I was told that the same reservation number was under a different name — and that person had already checked in. I showed the front desk associate the reservation confirmation on my phone, but instead of trying to help resolve the issue, she was extremely rude and dismissive.
When I asked her to please assist me in figuring out what happened, she accused me of being “combative,” which I absolutely was not. I was simply trying to understand how my confirmed reservation had been given to someone else. There were cameras at the desk, and I even mentioned that they would clearly show I was calm and respectful.
It didn’t stop there. When I asked about parking, she directed us outside but failed to mention that a parking pass was required to be displayed in the vehicle. My friend noticed a sign and went back inside to ask for one. At that point, the same associate was on the phone with the corporate office — after previously telling me she had no way to contact corporate and that my only option was to call Expedia.
The lack of professionalism, inconsistency, and poor customer service was shocking. I NEVER have left a negative review before, but this experience was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. Her name started with an A.
