Relax! You've just found the perfect German Village Getaway Home

This GV Hideaway is absolutely perfect for your weekend Getaway or week-long work trip. This is our personal second home, not an investment property, and you will immediately notice the difference.

The location is amazing. You will be less than a half-block from Schiller Park, GIVE Yoga Studio, South Village Grill, Thurmans, Fox in the Snow Coffee Shop & Bakery, German Village Cafe, STUMP Plant Store and German Village Nutrition. It is just a short walk to The Book Loft and all of the many restaurants and retail destinations that make German Village Special.

The outside of GV Hideaway is private and perfect for finding your inner zen with a beautifully landscaped courtyard that includes a covered porch, brick patio, great outside furniture, programmable string lights, natural gas fire pit and cedar fence. Forget about fighting for parking! This home has a large private driveway suitable for two cars with motion activated security lights.

Inside this cozy yet spacious cottage you will find high end finishes everywhere. The large galley kitchen is outfitted with a Kitchenaid Refrigerator, Kitchenaid Double Oven, Kitchenaid Under Counter Wine Cooler, Bosch 5 Burner Gas Cooktop, Bosch Dishwasher and professional grade cooking equipment.

All furnishings in the home are new from Pottery Barn in 2022. The cozy living room is perfect for reading or snuggling in to watch the 50" Samsung Frame TV. The dining room with large table is a great extension of the kitchen and perfect for meals, conversations over drinks or spreading out work.

The upstairs features a large bedroom with adjacent full bath where you will sleep like a dream on the King Sized Westin Heavenly Bed®. If you have never experienced the comfort of the Westin Heavenly Bed® you are in for a serious treat!

Best of all, the property is managed by experienced hosts who provide the amenities you need to feel right at home.

The GV Hideaway is equipped with 1 Gig Wireless Internet from Spectrum.

We had a great stay! It was a comfortable spot situated close to everything. It was great to have off street parking so that we didn't have to fight to find a spot. All the amenities we needed were available for a fuss free stay! The check in and check out process were very easy! We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location for this charming one bedroom home that boasts a comfortable, well appointed place to hang your hat while in the area. Beautiful kitchen with top notch appliances; cozy living room to relax and king size bed with excellent linens- many amazing places to dine within a 3-5 minute walk. This place is a gem!

Everything about this home is just perfect! There are several terrific dining options just around the corner, a park for strolling or exercise down the street, and the shops and additional restaurants of German village within easy walking distance. The home is beautifully appointed, and the hosts have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. I look forward to visiting the area again and will definitely book this home!

A Piece of Paradise

I am never disappointed when I recieve exactly what I purchased; and the depictions of the interior and exterior of this property were ABSOLUTELY EXACT and LOVELY! The yard and patio spaces were like your own botanical garden with a fountain, lovely furnishings, fire pit, plants, trees, flowers, also a work of love!!! I only wish I had more time to stay and sit, read, relax in the Sun.The hosts were amazing as well and thanks for the rental opportunity!

Columbus Jaunt

Lovely property. Wonderful location in the German Village and close to the highways - so much discover within 15 minutes. This home is lovely, well equipped, and provides space to spread out and unpack. The front porch is great for breakfast (Ciao Cafe has great pastries), living room is comfy, kitchen is very well equipped, and the bedroom and bathroom make a lovely, comfortable aerie. Schiller Park is so close and the evening Puppy Promenade is awesome if you're a pup lover.

German Village Getaway

Love this property. This is the third time we have stayed here. Enjoyed the comfort and amenities the house has to offer. Cleanest VRBO we have stayed at. Our last VRBO experience in Dearborn, MI was so awful we left early and rented a motel room. This home restored my faith in using VRBO again. Best place ever!

The best of Columbus.

Wow, what a lovely home! My husband and I booked a long weekend in Columbus to see a concert we’d been wanting to see. We’ve never been there before, but our friends recommended a few neighborhoods. This cozy little one bedroom is nestled in the heart of German Village just steps away from a beautiful park and some amazing neighborhood restaurants. Its centrally located and made a great home base from which to explore the unique charm of Columbus. The kitchen is spacious and well appointed and the second full bathroom came in handy. The bedroom is beg and cozy with a huge master bathroom and jacuzzi tub. This place is roomier than it seems! Our top notch hosts gave us great dining recommendations. This place is a hidden gem. We’ll be back!

Perfectly Perfect

This home has everything you would ever need for vacation. It is centrally located within 15 minutes of all the fun. Great private courtyard, off street parking, and walking distance to restaurants and parks. Top notch furnishings, beautiful artwork, and gourmet kitchen. Hosts were awesome and very commubicative. Will definitely return to this oasis in the city.

My perfect home away from home!

This space has served me magically, more then once. My favorite perks are the privacy, the excellent parking for my camper van, the soaking tub, the cleanliness, fantastic appliances and amenities, and swift communication with the owner. I’ll definitely be back!

I hope I get to stay here again!

My husband & I came to visit our daughter. I always try to find a place in German Village for all its great qualities. and we’ve stayed at some great places before but this one is my favorite so far. Whoever renovated this home did a fantastic job! It’s very open and well appointed. So many necessities of daily living have been provided that it’s very easy to step in and feel like your home. I really hope to come back one day and enjoy the beautiful and charming courtyard. The weather was not conducive for us this trip. The home was very clean, the location was perfect and it was so nice to not have to try to find street parking every day! The bed was very comfortable too. I just have nothing negative to say or anything to caution you about.
