“This place was clean, neat, and so quiet and peaceful. There were deer and you could hear so many different birds while sitting on the patio. It is close enough to town to do things in Fredericksburg, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet country. The host was fantastic. “We enjoyed our stay at the Grist Mill Cabin. Two things I would say. The steps are hard to navigate without a rail and the bathtub was hard to get in. We are both over 65 so in case you’re a senior citizen you might think about that. When we arrived on Monday around 6 PM we had to drive around the parking lot 3 times to find a parking place because Me. Gatti’s Pizza was busy.”
