“Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day.
This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...

“Very chill and cozy hotel. Staff are very sweet and helpful, but also not overly bearing. They stay in the background as much as possible. Not overly formal as you get in many hotels. Spa is very good, with good jacuzzi, nice little pool and good sauna and Hamman. Breakfast was also good, a mixture of everything; bacon and eggs, hard boiled if you want. Plenty of cereal, yoghurts, fruit, cold cuts and cheese, and plenty of pastries and different types of bread. The rooms were cozy, with nice...

“Staying in a hotel in the mountains above Chamonix, accessible only by a quaint train (30 minutes) where you can go on incredible hikes or just relax on the patio and stare at the glorious mountains... well, it doesn't get better than that. Everyone on the staff was attentive and nice, and the family room was perfect for my husband, myself, and our teenage daughter (who got her own space). We loved it!!”

“The hot tub and terrace were gorgeous. Apartment was spacious and clean.
Just a side note, the upper floor is designed for kids/juniors and it may be difficult to be used by tall adults. Great location just next to the Aiguille du Midi cable car. There is also an washer/drier but it is in the basement of the next building, you have to ask for it.”

“We stayed in room 306. There is a bus station right next to it, if you are staying in summer and crack windows for air (as there is no AC), it stays noisy till past midnight. There is a restaurant in the back (Le Privilege) they had loud live music till midnight. Overall we liked the hotel and stay again. ”

"Am enchanted place just a few hundred meters outside of Chamonix. The room was big and comfortable, with a very nice terrace. The place was incredibly silent and immersed in the forest, nearby a roaring river. "

"No trovo normale che ti bloccano sulla carta 200€dí cauzione quando in più non c’è il frigo bar in camera e poi ti dicono che la cauzione ti sarà sbloccata tra 2/3 giorni perché hanno 250 camere e non possono verificare se hai fatto danni .. sconsiglio questo hotel di festaioli se poi il tuo viaggio continuerà per "
"Eravamo in famiglia quattro persone ed eravamo venuti lì a sciare una settimana è stato molto confortevole tranne forse per lo spazio un po’ ridotto e però per i mezzi era molto buono perché consentiva gratuitamente i biglietti del treno. Però si consiglia di non arrivare prima delle cinque perché non viene data la camera.

QUESTO HA GENERATO UN PROFONDO MALUMORE DEGLI ALTRI OSPITI CHE AVEVANO RICHIESTO AL SOTTOSCRITTO DI TROVARE UNA SOLUZIONE CON IL SERVISIO SAUNA. SI CHIEDE UN RIMBORSO DEL 50% ALMENO DELL'IMPORTO SPESO O IN ALTERNATIVA UN BUONO SPESA PARI ALLA SOMMA A VOI VERSATA.
