“The room was spotless and comfortable. The staff was amazing! Very. Courteous and helpful the moment you arrive. The station is a within walking distance which is helpful if in a rush. ”

“Family of 5, booked 2 rooms with ensuites. Everything was great from the amenities to the food and helpful staff. The Ryokan is around a 300-500m walk from the ski lifts however they offer a shuttle service every morning. You can also reserve the shuttle at other times to head out to restaurants etc.”

“This was a warm, family run ryokan with excellent service in a good location near shops and restaurants. The onsen waters were fantastic. ”

“Nice resort overall but the customer service could be improved. The spa facilities and sauna could do with better cleaning. In my partners Sauna and spa had a bad smell which affected that tranquil environment where she wasn’t able to relax. We enjoy the Japanese breakfast the quality was really good with a good variety of hot and cold options. The staff was also quite rude in the ski park and was not helpful or informative. “A cozy onsen ryokan with very attentive and helpful male staff. I was truly impressed by his excellent service and will definitely return for another stay. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Although the onsen is not very large, it offers both indoor and outdoor baths and was pleasantly quiet with few people around.”

“Property had exposed knob and tube, which is a fire hazard for this kind of structure. Due to the age of the inn, there is no insulation. Rooms must be heated with space heaters which further increases the risk of fire. The accumulation of dust and various other contaminants triggered allergic reactions to several members of my family. On a positive note, food was very authentic and delicious. The comments and reviews need to reflect the condition of this inn.”
