“This was an excellent property. It was quiet and secluded just as advertised. The hot tub was so clean, they even have sandals for you to walk down to the hot tub. There is a trail leading to a waterfall that is one of the prettiest trails we took on out trip. The host had a book that had information on everything in the cabin and of all the dining and hiking in the surrounding area. Wonderful stay! ”

“The property was spacious, clean, and we enjoyed a beautiful view of the Skagit River from the back porch and family room area. We used the home as a base for driving into the North Cascades National Park and doing day hikes. We did Cascade pass, Maple pass, and Blue Lake trails and then enjoyed the beautiful drive back to the rental home each day where we prepared a delicious meal using the grill and enjoying the dining area with a view of the river. “We just wanted a quiet get away for a couple of days close to the North Cascades. We had hoped to see the fall foliage but it turned out we came a couple weeks early for the best of that. We stopped by the ranger station there in Darrington, and then drove up to Rockport and on to Newhalem to see what fall leaves we could. The cabin was quiet, clean and cozy. We loved sitting in the hot tub on the back deck and also sitting beside the Sauk River in the back of the property.”
