“The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. It's a charming unique hotel not a modern updated place. Quiet and beds were comfortable. The only problem was the elevator broke. A new motor was being installed when we left. ”

“Service was excellent! We made a last minute reservation due to our planned stay had no hot water. Originally my daughter and I took the last room available at the $80 per night rate and it had 1 king bed. Upon arrival the front desk staff found a room with 2 beds and gave us that at the same rate! Elevator was down the s cond and third days, but staff was so helpful and helped us down the stairs with our cooler and bags, even went out to the car with us! Very clean, no frills hotel. Hot tub worked but less than half of the jets worked. Room was nice and clean. TV worked great. Plenty of electrical outlets to plug in your charging devices. We ate at the restaurant attached to the hotel and the food was good. ”

“The property itself was fabulous! We lived our room the bar on the first floor was fun and the rathskeller had great live music the only issue was parking and the area around the hotel was very sketchy”

“I thought the renovation was amazing. It is quick and easy access to everything downtown and Canal Point. The neighborhood is also being renovated. We were on the first floor in front of the street window so there was some noise later in the evening. Overall, will absolutely come back. The room itself was lovely!!!”
