“Booking through Expedia said “River view”; however given a room “On the River”. Best to call the lodge to book in order to be clear on the room you want. A little extra cleaning can go a long way in the pool and cabins, but they just opened the week we went so I feel it probably will improve throughout the year. The staff (especially Sharon at the front desk), dinner menu and things to do in the area made it a 5/5. ”

“Easy check in. Love the keyless entry for the rooms. Stayed in the room that has a beds separated by two floors. Highly recommend to separate parents from kids a bit. A little table and chairs was great to eat at. The rooms have their own heat pump which was amazing for air conditioning. Also a full fridge/freezer. The rooms smelled a little odd but didn’t notice once inside with air conditioner going. Also a little dated, but clean. Kind of neat how they did breakfast. You order it with a...

“Nice area. Pet friendly, which is great. The cottages are spacious but dated. Some of the cottages and similiar to a duplex, with another guest staying on the other side of the wall. Ours was like this and our neighbors were a bit noisy until 11-1130pm. We stayed here in October so cannot comment on the pool.”

“The Antigonish Evergreen Inn was easily the best stay I've had at hotel in a long time. It's a pleasant spot on the outskirts of the town overlooking some scenic hills and fields, and the room I stayed in was both cozy and comfortable. Not only that, the staff was extremely helpful, giving me a complimentary shaving kit, toothbrush, and toothpaste when I forgot to pack mine, and the exceedingly patient owner even entertained my request to show me how to close my Venetian blinds the right way!...

“Easy access fro hwy, lobby and receptionist desk welcoming. Rooms spacious and clean. Sports channels available for Stanley cup finals. Breakfast . Nice variety. Food was hot, and replenished as needed. Definitely stay at Microtel hotels in the future. Ample parking.”
