“What a wonderful stay we had. Helen and her team could not have been more helpful. The pickup from the train and drop off was perfect, Helen helping us with our luggage. Sitting in the beautiful courtyard was a real pleasure. The rooms give you a complete taste of old china whist enjoying the lovely equipped bathroom, and comfortable authentic bed. Added to this the beautiful city of pingyao. Highly recommended the elsewhere hotel and pingyao. :) xx”

“The room we stayed in was nice. It was very dusty in Pingyao. I asked for clean towels on the second day of our stay because they were dirty. It was an awkward conversation, clearly they did not want to provide clean towels. In the end they didn’t and we were left to use dusty dirty towels.”
