“Great room with beautiful view of the fjord. We had supper at the hotel restaurant, was very good. Breakfast was also great. Lots of choice and made to order options also (we had eggs Benedict with smoked salmon).”

“Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!”
