Lodge a Conway Flat

“John was incredibly helpful and hospitable. The location is fabulous and the room was beautifully appointed. We had a balcony overlooking the ocean.”

“The wifi was terrible. Not sure if that's because my room was the furtherest away or it's just bad in general. The room itself was nice and the toilets and showers were good. I told them I would be late arriving and they told me where to find the key. Overall the stay was good it was just the wifi that was the issue because I wanted to work from my room so it was kind of important.”

“Booked a 2 bedroom unit. It was great, plenty of space. This property is on a main highway but we didn't notice any noise from traffic. Would stay again.”

“Posizione ottima, vicino al centro, alla colonia di foche e al punto panoramico, a due passi dal mare. Abbiamo conosciuto i proprietari, persone gentilissime. La camera è spaziosa molto accogliente, il bagno ampio. Il parcheggio è gratuito”

“Our welcoming host, Julie, made us feel like her personal guests. The rooms were spacious, cozy, spotlessly clean, and had a wonderful ocean view. The homemade shortbread cookies were a very nice addition to our evening balcony coffee”

“Was not happy with reception/owner - advised her that we would have to cut our trip short by a day due to a family situation that we heard about via phone as we were arriving at Bella Vista Kaikoura. Owner not helpful, insisted on full 2 day payment and offered no other options. We only stayed the one night and returned home the next day feeling disappointed by lack of empathy for our situation.”

“The location was ideal for completing the Kaikoura Península Walk, as it is located on the loop. It is a quiet location, a few minutes drive from the town center. The room was clean and comfortable with a small kitchen.”

“This recently renovated property had friendly owners, was spacious and quiet. Would recommend for travellers on a budget.”

“The place was great! Maybe not for everyone but perfect for anyone with kids or just looking for something a little different. We are seniors but have done a lot of camping and this was glamping at its best. We picked the yurt which had an outdoor kitchen and an external bathroom. Everything felt really authentic yet still very modern. It all was just there as one would expect from a nice hotel but presented in a different way. Kind of a cowboy camp or depression era type of a kitchen outside...
