“Great location near the beach and shops. Basic accommodation that was accurately described in the profile. Annoying to have to bring all our own linen since every other house we’ve booked provides it. Strange that there were wet towels left in the bathrooms and to have the all power off when we arrived, particularly as there was milk left in the fridge that was turned off. All in all though it was just what we needed for a quick stop off. Cooks Beach is lovely and worth a visit. ”

“Deck outside needs cleaning and sprucing up b4 summer otherwise property was clean and tidy. Could do with Sky or expanded TV/sport/film options especially in autumn/winter weather. Self checkin worked easily..”

“Loved the outlook to the beach. The bed was fantastic. Great to have Sky TV. Walking distance to the surf beach. Great proximity to the Old Mill Cafe. The unit could have been cleaner - the outside of the fridge was dirty, toilet wasn’t properly cleaned, vanity sink not properly cleaned. Unusually the policy included washing our own dishes or being charged extra. Could not get hold of anyone to try and check in an hour early. Not a big deal, but would have appreciated a call back. “The cottages are very spacious, beautiful and clean. Lodging is well located to all things Hahei. Parking was easy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Probably our favorite lodging in NZ. ”
