This charmingly renovated cottage on Lake Michigan's Big Bay de Noc includes 240 feet of private sandy beach!

Available to rent year-round, the cottage includes both air conditioning, and forced air heat and pellet stove.

Located about 40 miles east of Escanaba, with easy access to trails for snowmobiling and 4-wheeling.

Well-stocked kitchen and gas grill.

Beautiful sunsets all year. Enjoy them in the summer sitting on the porch swing or by the fire pit on the beach.

Sleeps 7 comfortably.

Pet friendly so your furry friends can join you too!

Peaceful retreat in a beautiful location
My husband and I rented this beautiful cottage as a place to relax after finishing the work of packing up and selling our house. We were pretty exhausted and needed time to just “ do nothing” and plan our year of travel. We can’t say enough about the cottage. The beds were so comfortable and the pellet stove provided a cozy warmth while we sat in the living room enjoying the sunset in the evening. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in. It was a pleasure to eat our meals at the cottage rather than go out to a restaurant. The beach front has a lovely wooden bench swing , picnic area, and fire pit . There is plenty of space to walk and explore the lake- great place to walk the dog. Though we were here to relax, this place is perfect for a family on a summer vacation looking to swim, fish, and have fun. We met or goal of relaxing and enjoyed every minute here. The owner was very responsive to our needs and easy to communicate with. There was no downside to our stay.

Amazing
This place is exactly as described and in my opinion even better! If you're looking for a nice private getaway this is a great place to go! My favorite part was having a bonfire right on the beach. It was so relaxing. The beds were extremely comfortable too! Everything was just really perfect for my family. We will definitely be coming back when its warm so we can get in the water but even while its cold out i would still go back here again and again! Checking in was a million times easier and less hassle than a hotel and communicating with Heather, our host was very easy. She was very generous with checking in early and explained everything perfectly. I will be recommending this place to as many people as i possibly can for sure

Beach House
This cottage has it all. Amazing views, comfort, well stocked, and great location. We toured Fayette Historic State park and hiked the 4mi trail on day one followed by an amazing dinner at Docks Grill in Garden. Spent next day at Miners Falls/Castle, and hiked the North Coast Trail to the beach. Last day visited Kitch-itI-Kip Springs & hiked Colwell Lake trail. Fall colors were amazing. Unfortunately the late October weather was not great for beaching. We would recommend this cottage to anyone. Just be aware it doesn’t sit far off the road so watch your children and pets. Five stars!!!

UP Fall Trip
This cabin was the perfect place to relax and unwind in the evening after enjoying the scenic drive to and from pictured rocks national lakeshore. It didn’t feel like much of a drive traversing through the surrounding national forest to get there. The sunset at the cabin was an added bonus. Pellet stove was a very nice touch.

Perfect
This was our first trip to Michigan and we picked the perfect place to spend a week, The cabin was immaculate and lacked nothing, The view out back is what we have missed and the privacy was perfect. We just got back to Florida and both wish we were still at the cabin.

Sunset cottage
Nice stay at this cottage. It was warm enough the first day to get in the water which was much warmer than we expected for the UP. It is very shallow for a long way out. We saw a beautiful sunset early in the week before it got cooler and rainy. The Dock Bar and Grill is just up the road and has great fresh fish!
