    Hatch's Lodge - Enjoy breathtaking lake views from the expansive covered porch, or take advantage of the shared waterfront for swimming, kayaking, and boating. There is a great shared stone patio and lawn space to enjoy as well, for recreation between baseball games.



    Escape to this spacious 5-bedroom, 5.5-bath lodge overlooking the sparkling waters of Otsego Lake. Perfect for families or groups, this elegant retreat combines rustic charm with modern comfort. Each bedroom features a private ensuite bath, offering space and privacy for all guests. There is a 1st-floor King bedroom for those who might have mobility issues, and 4 bedrooms with Queens on the 2nd floor. Rooms #3 and #4 on the 2nd floor are family suites offering a Queen bed and another alcove room with a twin bed and pullout twin sleeper sofa.



    The kitchen, large dining area, and open living spaces make entertaining effortless, all with great lake views. The covered dining porch also has Foosball and a Shuffleboard Table, as well as plenty of tables to sit, eat and enjoy. Beautiful summer a lake breezes make this a perfect spot to beat the heat and enjoy the views.



    A short walk down the driveway and across the road, you will find the shared waterfront. There are multiple boat slips; you can bring your own or rent one locally for your stay, as well as many kayaks and water toys. At the waterfront, guests can swim, fish and relax while enjoying the stunning views of Otsego Lake.



    Whether you’re watching sunsets over the lake, gathering around the fire pit, or exploring nearby Cooperstown attractions, this lodge delivers the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure.

We had a lovely long weekend in this beautiful, historic, home. Big front porch open to the lake was worth the price of admission. The host was very attentive and responsive and we loved spending lazy days, floating and kayaking off the little beach across the street.

The Perfect Home Base for a Cooperstown Dreams Park Week

Our family stayed at Hatch's Lodge while our son played in the Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to call home for the week. After long, exciting days at the ballpark, coming back to this beautiful lodge overlooking Otsego Lake was exactly what we needed. The house itself is spacious, immaculate, and thoughtfully laid out. With five bedrooms — each with its own ensuite bath — everyone had privacy and room to spread out, which is no small thing when you're traveling with a full crew for a baseball week. The first-floor king bedroom was a nice touch and the family suites upstairs worked perfectly for the kids. The real showstopper is the covered porch. We ate nearly every meal out there taking in the lake views, and the foosball and shuffleboard tables kept our daughters entertained between games. The kitchen was large and well-stocked, making it easy to feed a hungry team family without eating out every night. The shared waterfront across the road was a wonderful bonus — the kids swam and took the kayaks out, and it gave everyone a way to unwind and enjoy the lake on off days. The drive to Dreams Park was quick and easy, and being just minutes from the Baseball Hall of Fame and the Village of Cooperstown made it simple to fit in the full Cooperstown experience. The property was spotless on arrival, communication was prompt and friendly, and every detail was clearly cared for. If your family is headed to Cooperstown for a tournament — or just a lake getaway — book Hatch's Lodge. We hope to be back!
