Overall, our stay was fairly good, and the hotel met our expectations in terms of facilities and comfort. However, I feel the need to highlight an unpleasant incident that occurred on the morning of April 22nd.
It was our first morning at the hotel, so we weren't yet familiar with how the breakfast service was organized. Although there were still 15 minutes left before the service ended, the waitress seemed visibly annoyed and was already huffing and puffing as we arrived.
The most disappointing part, however, was the way she handled the payment. As we were heading toward the hall to sit down and eat, she shouted at us from across the room in front of all the other guests: "Guys, you have to pay!" While she was technically correct about the policy, there was absolutely no need to yell or cause a scene. A polite, quiet reminder would have been more than enough. Being publicly called out like that was quite embarrassing and frankly unprofessional.
It’s a shame, because the rest of the experience was fine, but this specific encounter left a very sour taste in our mouths. Hospitality is as much about how you say things as what you are saying.
