Un caratteristico bungalow rustico che domina il villaggio di pescatori del porto di Corea

Rustico incontra la comodità moderna in questo rustico di 100 anni, una camera da letto, bungalow fronte oceano. Si affaccia sul pittoresco porto di Corea, a Corea del Maine, un piccolo villaggio di pescatori situato a Gouldsboro. Puoi vedere l'aragster locale lasciare il porto, trascinare le trappole e vendere il pescato alla fine della giornata.

C'è una veranda coperta che conduce in una piccola cucina, un bagno e una camera da letto. Al piano superiore ha una zona soggiorno con un tavolo e sedie per 4 posti, un divano futon e un letto singolo.

Ponti Bungalow comprende un frigorifero di dimensioni complete, un fornello a gas con forno, un forno a microonde, una caffettiera, lenzuola, asciugamani, piatti, utensili, wi-fi, una smart tv con netflix, un grill propano all'aperto e un pozzo del fuoco per la sera incendi.

È possibile acquistare una fresca aragosta locale di 1/2 miglio a Corea Lobster Co-Op o si può gustare Lunch on the Wharf a Corea Wharf Gallery and Grill anche a 1/2 miglio di distanza. Alcuni altri punti di ristoro locali sono 'The Pickled Wrinkle' e 'Bunkers Wharf' entrambi situati a Birch Harbor e 'Salt Box' situati a Winter Harbor.

Si trova a circa 10 minuti dal porto invernale dove si può godere della sezione Schoodic Point del parco nazionale di Acadia o prendere il traghetto per una gita di un giorno a Bar Harbor.

Le attività locali includono trekking, mountain bike, pesca, canottaggio e kayak. C'è anche un campo da golf a Winter Harbor e Sorrento.

The view!

We had a great time in Corea! Lobster at Bell Bouy’s was excellent and we enjoyed golf at Grindstone! Make sure and talk the ferry to Bar Harbour. This cottage has everything you could want, quiet and views are amazing!

Simply Fantastic

We had a crowd of family members in our main house so my wife and I booked this property via VRBO. We unexpectedly needed to check in early so the owner made a special trip that morning just for us. The view is spectacular. The cottage is cozy but perfect for a couple. Super clean, tasteful nautical decor, updated appliances with quaint mid-century elements. Loved it!

Sweet Bungalow - coastal views and peaceful spot to watch the boats. The bungalow offered an adorable beach/lobster theme home away from home. The hostess was amazing and communicated everything we needed. Would love to come back.

Great little place to stay 12/10 recommend. Highly recommend the ferry to Bar Harbor made getting to Acadia much simpler. Perfect little fishing village to overlook at the end of the day.

Perfectly quiet

If you're like us and like to vacation without staying in the central hub of tourists this is absolutely the place for you. This small cottage directly on the harbor is a perfect spot for anyone who wants a quiet place to relax at the end of the day with gorgeous a view and the unique opportunity to watch fishermen leaving for a days work (they're so quiet we almost missed seeing them leave!!)Pam is an excellent host and her cottage is well stocked with anything you'd need during your stay. Our dog absolutely loved the location with all the seagulls, geese and water to keep her entertained.

The hidden gem

Quiet cozy amazing views, cottage was clean comfortable, and looking forward to staying there again, lots to do around the area if you like hiking site seeing, great local restaurants absolutely 5 stars if you like quiet time this for sure is your spot.

Peaceful and beautiful cottage

I had a wonderful stay at this cottage. I was looking for peace and quiet near Acadia and boy did I find it. The cottage is steps away from the water and was wonderful to watch the fishing boats each morning and evening. I highly recommend this cottage if you are looking to be close to nature and great seafood!

Amazing!

Quaint, quiet, and private. What more can you ask for? I loved this little home. Corea is a small fishing town, where the locals seem to take life slow. This was exactly what we were looking for. We had a bonfire and stared at the stars for hours (who knew there were that many stars in the sky?). Sleeping with the windows open, and hearing nothing but the distant sounds of a buoy bell was exactly what my soul needed. Incredibly relaxing. The kitchen had all the tools and appliances you could've asked for, including a lobster pot! Thanks so much for hosting us, we would absolutely love to stay here again!

Wonderful location

Great out of the way location. Small it was fine for 2 people but I would not want to be there with more. It is well stocked with implements but kitchen is tight. Nice screened porch but the door has gaps so not sure if it would keep out the bugs in the summer.

A taste of real Maine

My husband and I and our two shelties loved every minute of our peaceful stay. We loved watching boats coming in and out. The sunsets were gorgeous. The dogs loved the screened-in porch. We ate almost every day at Lunch on the Wharf. We hope to stay here again! Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Amazing view right on the water

It was more beautiful view than pictures show. So close to the water! Pamela was prompt in answering any questions. We even were able to stay longer! Totally recommend and hope to return there one day!

Absolutely wonderful

We enjoyed every bit of our stay, especially watching the hard-working lobster fisherman leave out early morning. Reading about the history of the lobster fishing in the book the owner left about her family was extremely interesting and an education for my husband and I you never really think about Who is catching the lobster and the hard work it takes for these families To do it. The cottage was immaculately, clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed although the stairs up to the loft may not be accessible to a lot of people, we were able to make the climb and enjoy the absolutely gorgeous view, which made it well worth it. So if you have any joint issues or problems with stairs, do know that the bathroom is downstairs and the only bedroom is upstairs. It did not bother us at our current age and level of mobility. And as for the shower, yes it’s very small but I am a short plump lady and I was able to fit without a problem ha ha. Overall, it was an absolutely magical.

Very quiet

The nearest store of any kind is at least 15 mins away. If you won't isolated and quiet it's perfect in every way. If it were closer to my home. (7 1/2 hrs away) we would go again for sure. Make sure you read the notebook right away. Beautiful.

Best little cottage

Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and small dog. It was perfect. Found so much sea glass on the little beach right in front of the cottage. The cottage was small but perfect. We hope to come back in the fall sometime.
