Masseria dei Paternostro is a historic country estate surrounded by golden hills, green meadows and rows of pines, eucalyptus, oaks, poplars and oleanders in the authentic heart of the Sicilian countryside. Guests stay in a spacious apartment within the historic manor house and enjoy exclusive access to the estate during their stay, including the gardens, the swimming pool and the surrounding countryside — there are no other guest bookings at the same time, ensuring complete privacy and tranquility.

The apartment includes four bedrooms and four bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a terrace, two balconies, and a laundry room. Three bedrooms have double beds, one bedroom has two single beds, and an additional single bed is available in a small study. The accommodation overlooks the traditional internal courtyard of the Masseria and offers a stereo system and Wi-Fi on request.

Outside, the gardens open onto the rolling landscape of the estate. A large swimming pool, discreetly set among greenery, is available from May to October and offers a refreshing retreat during the Sicilian summer. Guests can walk freely through the private countryside surrounding the Masseria, enjoying the quiet beauty of the Sicilian landscape.

The property is located just 8 km from the historic town of Corleone, known for its artistic heritage, history and natural landscapes. The location also makes an excellent base for exploring western and southern Sicily, with the beautiful beaches of Menfi and Sciacca and the remarkable archaeological sites of Agrigento and Selinunte all within comfortable driving distance.

The Masseria itself dates back to 1873, when it was founded as an agricultural estate and administrative center for the surrounding lands. The building originally housed the study where the affairs of the estate were managed and gradually evolved into the elegant rural residence it is today.

The history of the Paternostro family in the region is much older. The family settled in the Corleone area in the sixteenth century, arriving from Savona in Liguria, and over the centuries built several palaces and rural estates across the countryside. They also contributed to the cultural life of the region, constructing a church in Chiusa Sclafani and chapels in the historic churches of nearby towns. In the nineteenth century, members of the family served as mayors of Corleone and Campofiorito and later as senators of the Kingdom of Italy.

In earlier times the family estate extended across thousands of hectares of land, reflecting the agricultural importance of the area. Today the property still preserves about 100 hectares of rolling countryside, maintaining the atmosphere of a historic Sicilian country estate where nature, history and quiet rural life come together.
