Con 4 camere da letto ben arredate, oltre 2400 piedi quadrati di spazio vitale, una piscina privata, vasca idromassaggio per 8 persone e anche un bar bagnato, questa casa vacanza mozzafiato piacerà sicuramente a te e alla tua famiglia.
    CASA DE LUZA dispone anche di due master suite e meravigliose terrazze solarium per godersi il panorama e le fresche brezze dell'oceano. Trascorri un po 'di tempo con una partita di basket o un rilassante gioco di ferri di cavallo.
    Comodo per lo shopping, ristoranti, locali notturni e attrazioni storiche come il Whalehead Club e il faro di Currituck. Solo 350 piedi per accedere direttamente alla spiaggia!

More than we hoped!

This place was beautiful! The location is amazing being so close to the beach and a short bike ride to the stores. All the details were thought of in the home. It was incredible! Our family had an amazing time.

Excellent week here!

Weather was looking gloomy but this location didn’t disappoint. Close to grocery store, beach, shops and fresh farm stand. Nice and roomy, clean and any issues were quickly resolved to our satisfaction. I loved it here. Ended up with some great beach/pool days. Jacuzzi could use an upgrade but it didn’t take away from any good vibes. Had an absolutely wonderful vacation with family. Aquarium, horse tour, shopping, beach, puzzles, and the complimentary bagels were divine. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, big house

The house was great for our family of 4 and could have accommodated significantly more guests! It was exactly as advertised. It is dated but all was in proper working order and a comfortable stay very close to the beach.

Even in the Rain Casa de Luz is Full of Light

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It rained again this year! We've stayed at Casa De Luz for many years and not always the same week in Sept. The house is PERFECT. Perfect location, perfect accommodation for 2 families. Clean and organized. Fully stocked kitchen - LABELED drawers and cabinets so you know where everything belongs. The weather wasn't great and there were red flags most of the week. We played games and enjoyed the hot tub. We had bad pizza from Giant Slice and great pizza from Lucky's. We had a ton of bagels free and purchased from Lighthouse. THE BEST meal was at Corolla Bowls - Thai at the beach!! Beautiful inside, excellent service, and delicious food. The hot tub was HOT which saved the ugly days.

Appreciated the new siding, new decking and new deck furniture. Made some additional memories here. Unfortunately, with THE OBX ONE party house being erected next door, this will be our last stay. We had a good 2yrs run, staying here.

Nice House

We had a nice stay at this house. The exterior of the home was just competed and looks very nice. Amenities and the inside of the home probably need some attention. The lack of a gas grill is a little surprising considering the cost of one and cost of the home. A little upgrade to the linens, pillows, bathrooms would also be great. Some of the finishing's were done a maybe too much of a budget.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are always happy to pull into the driveway! There were some nice upgrades/changes to the exterior storage and interior decor. The kitchen is the real star. Everything is labeled, it's well stocked, and there's plenty of space to work/dine/gather. Proximity to the beach without the hefty oceanside price tag makes this a great choice for us. The beach access has been upgraded as well. The hot tub was hot and the pool was cool - we had a few red flag days so it was great to still get to swim.

Outside of the house needs some TLC. Saw several holes in the exterior of the house, including paint peeling. Saw several spindles on the outside porch that were not fastened. Porch was weathered. Pool was nice, but water warms up quickly due to small size. We would stay here again and I would recommend this place to a friend or relative.

House was great, leasing company was not

We had to clean the first two days of arrival. Floors were filthy, bed clothes had not been changed, and garbage cans were so full we had no room to put trash bags. Looked like dusting hadn’t been done in months, hairs left in shower and on toilet. Windows were very dirty with handprints and marks. We were able to get housekeeping to send someone out to get clean bedclothes about 2 hours after arrival. They also did a quick sweep of the floors for us. The dishes In the cabinets were all dirty with food and caked up debris on them. To feel comfortable using them we washed all the dishes we would need and set them aside to reuse them each meal. House keeping manager said she would see about a credit due to the cleanliness issues, but never heard anything else. Called leasing company manager and left a detailed message and got no call back. House was located as described, great location about 5 min walk to the beach. Grocery store and shops 5 mins away. The house itself was roomy and had a great pool and hot tub. Great house, owner should definitely reconsider leasing through Carolina Shores.

It’s a perfect location and just right for a smaller group. We had fun playing games and relaxing in the hot tub.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying here for many years as it fits our family just right. Also, just next door to friends that we love to visit. Every year, we see a few upgrades and appreciate that. New TVs this year were great, though it took a little getting used to the set up for these non techy types (LOL). Not sure why, but we had sheets supplied this year and that saved us some time on check in. Thanks if you had anything to do with that. We will be looking to book again next year, for sure. Couple things that could be addressed - hot tub cut off a few times and we had to call maintenance to get it running again (great response, by the way) and the slider in the Q BR was so difficult to open that it was not used. For Carolina Shores, I would recommend a solution to having to wait for check-in in Duck. How about a physical check in and then a code provided for the door when the home is ready? We get there early and have to wait around, even for our early check in. Thanks!

Great week in Corolla

The house, although a bit dated, has great bones and a great, well-maintained space for our 9 guests. The commercial ice machine was a huge plus and helped with drinks at the house and filling coolers for the beach. The walk to beach access was short, although the stairs up and over the dunes were hard for the youngest and oldest in the group. The pool area and pergola were beautiful. Horseshoe pits were excellent, although the horseshoes themselves were oxidized and hard to handle. The mattresses could use an upgrade, but did not negate the positives of the house.

Great home but AC needs work

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Casa de Luz is a comfortable home in a great location. During our stay, we had extreme heat during the first four days until the weather broke and cooled to the 80s. While it was very warm (90s), the top level was extremely hot. We kept all blinds and curtains closed and the thermostat set to 70, however the temp in the home rose to 80/81 every day. It did not coll down to 70 until the early morning, but as soon as the sun rose, the temp in the house did too. We endured this from Sat-Tues. The heat in the home also seemed to cause issues with the freezer. For a few days, it did not make ice and items were thawing. Once the weather changed the freezer went back to normal. I called it into maintenance and also know the renters the week before had the same issue. We have rented homes for many years in very hot weather and never had this issue. It was very uncomfortable in the home at night for making dinner and sleeping. Maintenance and office kept telling us it was because it was so hot and that it was normal. This was not normal. It seems there needs to be a more powerful AC system for the top level and/or better insulation. It ran constantly during the first few days and never stopped. Maintenance was also called as the cable box didn’t work in the lower level K BR. Called on Sat nite and no service until Tues. Box was changed with sitting room and was told it would be called in for repair. Not fixed during our stay. VB court was too rocky to play barefoot and dangerous for diving for balls. We adjusted to a less intense style of play. Other than those issues, the house was very well equipped and comfortable. Great pool. Just the right size for our family. We rented this home several years ago and would consider again if we could be assured the AC has been addressed.

Very nice home, great location, well appointed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was located very close to the beach, was very clean and comfortable, kitchen extremely well stocked, had games a pool and volleyball. We loved it!
