Benvenuti nel Blue Heron di KEES Vacations!

Cucina nuovissima per il 2019

Corolla. Solo il nome evoca qualcosa di selvaggio e gratuito. I cavalli selvaggi che vagano per la spiaggia. Il faro di Currituck che guida ancora i marinai a casa. Corolla è ora sede di molte attività, ristoranti e attrazioni, ma riesce comunque a mantenere un residuo delle vecchie banche esterne. È sentito da tutti coloro che viaggiano qui.

Fedele al suo nome, The Blue Heron vi accoglierà con la sua bellissima facciata blu Carolina. La casa è una delizia per tutte le età, con il suo arredamento luminoso e colori affascinanti. Spanning tre livelli interni ed esterni, c'è un sacco di spazio per tutti di reclamare il proprio posto. Dall'intimo salotto del primo piano al nido di corvo fino all'ultimo piano, ci sono molti spazi speciali per l'intero gruppo.

Sicuramente, però, l'intero gruppo si riunirà nella piscina di 12 x 26 nel cortile sul retro. Ci sono un sacco di sedie e lettini Adirondack. Anche un tavolo da picnic se hai voglia di cenare all'aperto! Fai un tuffo nella vasca idromassaggio ribollente e senti tutte le tue preoccupazioni sciogliersi ...

Ancora una volta, la grande sala di alto livello servirà sicuramente come lo spazio centrale di raccolta per il gruppo. Prepara uno spuntino o un pasto completo nella suggestiva cucina rinnovata di recente, goditi la vista dalla finestra del tinello o guarda il tuo film o programma TV preferito nel soggiorno con TV a parete. Nei mesi più freddi o in una rara sera estiva fredda, accendi un fuoco accogliente.

The Blue Heron è a soli 3 isolati a piedi dalle ampie spiagge sabbiose di Corolla. Assicurati di trascorrere un po 'di tempo familiare per godersi la natura al suo meglio. Non c'è niente come le acque acquamarine e le sabbie zuccherate delle Outer Banks. I ricordi fatti qui sono per sempre.

Check-in was very easy. House was dirty, you could tell it was quickly cleaned but really needed a deep clean. The interior had dust and cobwebs only primary surfaces were cleaned. The carpet had a lot of dog hair on it from past guests and left your feet black. The vacuum there barely worked and there was no cleaning spray to touch up. The kitchen did have everything you needed however it was a unorganized hodgepodge of old leftover stuff. The kitchen cabinets were dripping with grease and grime. The exterior was hard to use with the amount of giant cobwebs all around including the exterior bathroom. I really wish there was a broom I would have cleaned up all the cobwebs and swept all of the pine needles around the pool. With all this being said we would rent this property again the location was awesome a dead end street within walking distance of the beach entrance. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our group. Now I know though to bring my own cleaning supplies and what I'm getting into, I would need to spend an afternoon cleaning it so that we could have really enjoyed it.

Loved the location and house. My son really enjoyed feeding the turtles! The only thing I would recommend is additional pest control. The flies, ants, and spiders made it difficult to enjoy the pool area at times.

Great trip, Kees property management was a bit frustrating to work with communication wise.

The house was amazing, very clean on the inside. The pool and hot tub had not been cleaned in a while and the pool guy did not come out on the first day as promised. Then once he did there was an electrical issue that had affected the pool and hot tub. It all took the first 3 days of our trip to be repaired. Things were only done with me calling and reporting what had not been fixed or that the pool guy had not come, then showed up stayed 40 mins and left for 3 hours until I called Kees to tell them that. Only when he returned did he realize the electrical problem and that took a whole other day to get fixed. The house is beautiful, very clean, easy access to all the restaurants and shops and two grocery stores. I felt bad for the owners I feel like Kees could be better at checking the properties before check in , that would have allowed for all the repairs and replacement tv to be identified prior to our stay. Only on day 3 of not getting follow up information unless I text or called, I became very frustrated. The owners were amazing and promptly authorized the repairs of everything we were having issues with. So, I recommend the house and the owners. Was not impressed with the pool guy or the communication. The absolute best communicator was the actual Kees Maintenace man, he was very prompt, communicated and did what he said he would do. The girls answering the were polite but not unless I asked to get an update was, I updated. I had to inform them of progress.

Great location!

We enjoyed the location of this property! It was a short walk to the beach, close to shops, restaurants & grocery stores. The house was perfect for our family of 4, the pool & hot tub were a huge plus for us! The only issue we had was the trash from prior renters was left behind so my husband ended up taking it out. There were no trash bags & hand soap on the top level & when we called/emailed/messaged about it, we were told someone would drop it by the same day and after numerous follow ups, that finally happened 3 days into our stay. By that time, we had already gone out and bought trash bags and hand soap from the grocery store. Aside from that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We would definitely stay there again but we likely would make sure we brought back up trash bags and soap so we didn’t have to play the back and forth game with the property management group.

Wonderful family house

Our family really enjoyed the house. The house is set up perfectly for a family to enjoy time together but also to enjoy outdoor spaces together. The beds were comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. The house is also very close to grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. When staying at this house you must go to the turtle pond and feed the turtles just right by the house.

Nice that it is available for less than a week

We only had the long weekend, but wanted to get to the beach. It is nice that this was available for less than a week. Nice that you can bring dogs. About 10 minute walk to the beach. Nice little lake with a path around it that is nice for walking dogs. Close to Timbuck II with restaurants and shops. Pool small but functional. Covered hot tub area is nice. Bathroom and shower near hot tub is a plus. All living space is on third level. Dogs got their exercise following us up and down. 😀

Amazing!

This is the best location I have stayed in in OBX, wonderful neighborhood and a few blocks from the beach, such a great vibe! The beds were super comfortable, each room had its own bathroom, the kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of room for everyone. Pool and hot tub were amazing. We had a problem with one of the AC units, we called and they had someone there within an hour. Definitely one of the perks of going through a place that has a management company. I don't think we will look any further for our next trip, this is the winner!

nice vacation stay

It was a great house and had nice amenities. There were a couple hiccups (ice maker didn't work, TVs were a bit difficult to figure out), but overall it was a great stay. Deck access was awesome, deck furniture very nice, pool was clean and refreshing.

Great location, awesome house!

The house was amazing! Exactly as listed, the pool and hot tub was such a hit for the kids and the adults honestly lol. The location of the house is perfect, very quiet, and just a short 30 second walk to a little lake where you can feed the turtles. As soon as you walk up to the lake, the turtles start swimming towards the shore, so bring some snacks for them if you go down there. Overall a great stay and we will be back!

Great beach house in Corolla. Pool is a nice addition!

This beach rental has many positives qualities such as large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom; a brightly-lit kitchen and living room area; a short walk to the nearest beach access; and a swimming pool and hot tub in the back yard. My only complain with this rental was that the home was not ready to check in at the stated time. No fault to the cleaning crew, who were clearly doing the best that they could- given the circumstances (apparently, the previous renters refused to leave the property at the designated check-out time). Because the trip was only a weekend getaway, we felt that we lost valuable time waiting for the cleaning crew to have the property ready for us to check in. The previous renters also forgot to put out the garbage on trash day, so we were left with more trash than could fit in the garbage bins.

Family Beach Trip

House fun .... not good management

Great house! Very spacious and totally fun with pool and hot tub , outdoor shower , etc. unfortunately the Kees Vacation company never responded to 3 emails and 2 phone call messages to communicate about the property prior to arriving and drain problems in two bathroom showers. Great house.... not so good management company

Beach Trip

Beach house with plenty of space. The house has an amazing pool and hot tub that was really enjoyable. The house could have been a little bit cleaner. There was food underneath one of the couches. Great neighborhood and a short walk to the beach although you can’t see the beach from the house. There is a short trail beside the house that you can walk with your dogs and see a ton of turtles that a local feeds. Overall a great stay.
