Benvenuti a "Sea'z a Dream", un'immacolata 6 camere da letto (tutte con bagni privati) situata nell'esclusiva e recintata comunità di Buck Island Resort, a pochi passi dal centro commerciale Tim-Buck-II con negozi e ristoranti opzioni. Questa bella casa sarà fornire alloggi eccezionali per una grande vacanza al mare. La disposizione spaziosa della casa e ampie camere da letto forniscono l'abbondanza di spazio per tutti, mentre la grande sala e zona pranzo all'aperto offre l'ambiente ideale per la famiglia ritrovi. Una bella cucina con ripiani in granito, centro grande isola, due lavastoviglie e due piani di cottura è sicuro di soddisfare anche lo chef più esigenti. Wonderful Thanksgiving holiday week for our family. The house was comfortable and a short walk to the beach. The kitchen accomodations were great for us. We really enjoyed our time overall and would definitely stay again especially during such a quiet, relaxing time to be at the Outer Banks!

Memories Made

The purpose of our trip was to be able to spend our last Christmas together with my Grandmother. She doesn’t have much longer with us so I wanted to make as many memories as we could. This house helped us do that! The elevator was crucial since she is wheelchair bound. The handicapped shower was super helpful as well. The house was clean pretty well just a little dusty from lack of use perhaps? The location was great and we made the memories!

Great property

The location of the house relative to the beach is nice. About 3 blocks to the boardwalk over the dune. Beach is gorgeous, the beach cabana at the start of the boardwalk rents umbrellas and chairs, has bathrooms & showers, etc. All really nice. The house itself is large - plenty of room for the 13 we had along. The one criticism is the kitchen. There is absolutely no room anywhere in the kitchen to store food -- so everything was all over the counters all week. There is a cabinet that could be a pantry, but it has no shelves?? There are two grills - one upstairs on the deck and one down by the pool, which was really handy (we did one gluten free grill and one non-GF). The pool is nice - a few lounge chairs, a nice table and chairs to hang in the shade. As it is on the back (east) side of the house, you get shade by mid-afternoon, which was nice. Check in was super easy - property management was communicative, got us in maybe 30 minutes early. The gated community is nice - lap pool, pickle ball / tennis courts. Super super clean, well maintained. Very close to everything you need (groceries, fish market, shopping, etc). Overall, we liked the place a lot. Wish it was a bit closer to the ocean, as you don't have a view from the house, but it made for another great OBX vacation!

Sea’z A Dream

It was a fantastic stay and the description was very accurate. Huge piece of property and house and great location/neighborhood. It was a short walk/drive to the beach. Having the cabana club at the beginning of the beach entry was nice as well. We rented chairs and umbrellas from them several times this week. The elevator was helpful and everyone enjoyed it. The elevator doorknob on the bottom floor is loose and a lightbulb went out in the second floor vanity (the frog themed one). Thanks again! We had a blast!

Buck Island's "Sea'z a Dream"

The house was big and very nice. The elevator made our stay a lot easier with coming and going without climbing the stairs. We loved that there was a pool, a kiddie pool and a hot tub, but due to bad weather we weren't able to enjoy ourselves with the outdoor entertainment. The area we were in was quiet for the most part until the workers remodeling the house behind us started early in the morning. We wish there had been more cabinet space or a pantry for our groceries, which took up counter space. With the lack of curtains and/or blinds in the main living area, we felt we had no privacy especially in the evening. Our family and friends enjoyed the stay and may return next year at a different time of the year and hopefully have good weather.

First time in OBX

From the minute we got to this property until we left, we enjoyed every minute of this BEAUTIFUL property. There were 15 of us & no one felt crowded. Every room having its own en suite bathroom was amazing! No fighting over showers. Corolla is a gorgeous town, so is every place we checked out. The food, entertainment, shopping, scenery, etc. all incredible. It was convienant to everything. Even though it was a colder week, we still used the pool & hot tub, grill, the beach chairs/boogie boards etc. The house literally has everything you cpuld possibly need to make a meal. The swing on the porch was a nice touch to enjoy being outside. Beach access was close by, your teens got lots of use out of the basketball court too. All in all probably our favorite vacation EVER. We will be back, OBX can't be beat!!! Thank you for sharing this home with us!!

Fantastic property: Would recommend/rebook for future.

We had a great stay. The rooms were large, beds were comfortable, and everything was clean and operational. The room sizes and layout made it so everyone could be together but have their own space and not feel on top of each other or crowded, which is very important with a multi-family vacation and children. The way the stairs were positioned with the doorway and living room allowed voices to carry from the top floor to the bottom when needed, which was perfect for calling for our 4 children. Management was very responsive and friendly. I somehow lost my check in information email, and she was very helpful with getting us in there with the codes and even allowed us to do an early check in. There was some cobwebs in the tall lighting but I'd trade that for early check in anyday and everything else was clean and orderly. If we could share ANY "complaints" it would be that the the children had a double bunk room (which was fantastic), but it was the only bedroom on the bottom level with the pool table, entertainment system, wet bar and an all too easy access to the pool and hot tub, which made us a little uneasy. During the night, it gave them unsupervised access to expensive parts of the house and the danger of being near the pool with their own sliding door access to it. Consistently talking to them about safety/respect throughout the stay and their good behavior did a lot for us on that subject and alcohol stayed in kitchen. Pool is nice; isn't heated but not nearly as cold as I was expecting. Kids loved it and I swam more than I usually do that late in season. Hot tub was perfect. Quick, relaxing walk to the gated community's private boardwalk and small convenient parking lot with a facility cabana was a nice luxury, allowing bathrooms to be accessible when at the beach. Neighbors were friendly, area was quiet and well maintained. Location was perfectly in between the 4x4 drive on beach and the busy towns with restaurants and activities. food lion is right there n a plaza with restaurants, corolla go kart raceway and mini golf is right across the main rd. So you feel out of the way but close enough to not actually be. Make sure to bring your soaps, paper products and essential linens if you did not choose the option of renting them. Kitchen is fully stocked with some dish cloths and both grills worked great. The tall windows made for almost panoramic views of beautiful sunsets/sunrises, which was awesome. Thank you for having us. We loved it.

Great spot

The location and house were great, and wonderful amenities. The only thing we didn’t like was the 200+ dollar Harmony remotes for the entertainment systems as they were hard to use. The pool was nice and the beach was very close. Over all great experience!

The Family of the Groom

This is a nice house but it needs some upgrades. I'm physically challenged so the elevator was important and was great to have. On the other hand the bathrooms had very low toilets which was a real struggle for the seniors in the group. They need to be replaced with the chair height toilets. Also the house has so many things in the cabinets but no room for food. Lastly I've never been in a rental that didn't include bath towels.??? I didn't like that at all.

A great escape

It was so nice to get away with extended family and enjoy a week away in Corolla! So convenient to everything you could need, the community is great for biking, the beach is not overcrowded and the house was very comfortable! A little bit of a walk to the beach, but the community has a large parking lot near the beach entrance for those who would rather not walk. Easy to just enjoy your family during the pandemic and still have a great beach vacation!

Wonderful!!

Great place to stay. There was an small issue with codes getting in the gated community but contacted the property manager and all was corrected in a matter of seconds. Simply what you see in the photos is what you get. Overall would rent this house again!

July 20-28 vacation

We loved our vacation and the house itself suited our needs perfectly as well as the location was perfect! Air conditioner worked better on the 3rd floor than it did on the first and second (and it was a hot week!) but nothing that made it too uncomfortable. The only other thing was the absolutely rude man at the gate which is your first experience. I won't go into details because I've already emailed twice, but he was awful and we all ended up in a yelling match while trying to enter. Everyone was upset. That said...after we all calmed down, we had absolutely wonderful vacation and we would come again.

Sea’z A Dream Is Fantastic!!!!

The house and amenities are simply superb! Location in Corolla is wonderful. Close to the beach. Even closer to your own pool and hot tub! Would recommend this property to anyone and Leslie and Jen are fantastic to work with!!

beautiful property in lovely gated community

Every bedroom has an adjoining bath and access to the deck. Plenty of seating and space indoors and out for a large family gathering. Closets are filled with supplies a family with infants and children would need. Games, books, movies (old), beach and pool toys for the older kids and adults. The pool, jacuzzi and kiddie pool were clean and we used them each day. The beach is a short walk and was not crowded. So glad we chose Seaz A Dream!
