Scopri i delicati venti in questa magnifica proprietà sul lungomare decorata in modo professionale. 3 camere da letto matrimoniali King, tutte con vista sul lungomare e ognuna con la propria vasca idromassaggio privata. Bella cucina con ripiani in granito, pavimenti in piastrelle, doppio forno e 2 lavastoviglie. La cucina si affaccia sul suono per tramonti spettacolari sull'acqua! Un molo privato romantico e appartato con gazebo e vasca idromassaggio sarà un successo per tutti nel gruppo. La vasca idromassaggio è in realtà nel gazebo e offre un posto fantastico per guardare un tramonto o sorseggiare un cocktail dopo una giornata al sole. Il molo si affaccia su un ormeggio privato per barca a vela o kayak, ed è perfetto per buttare fuori una linea, o fare i coglioni con i bambini! Questa proprietà è una delle proprietà più vicine all'acqua della zona, con viste spettacolari sul lungomare. Situata a Monteray Shores, nella zona della Corolla, questa struttura si trova vicino alla piscina condominiale, al centro fitness e ai campi da tennis.

Some parts were great

We had a great vacation in this house. There was room for all 16 of us, although we had to do some planning around who went in what rooms since they were a little oddly set up for the numbers/groups we had). The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The upstairs level was where most of spent our time, both inside and outside. The amenities were great and easy to use. We used the bikes, kayaks and corn hole items that we ordered. That delivery was easy. The water on the sound got a little stinky and that made sitting out right by the water a little challenging, but once you got out on the water that smell wasn't there. It was too hot for the hot tub, but a few people got in at night and it would have been nice if it were cooler. Loved the extra fridge for beverages. The beach was a short walk (10 minutes) once we found the "short cut." The sign was small and at the back of a cul de sac so it took us a minute. Our biggest frustration was the cleanliness of the house. The cleaners arrived as we were supposed to check in, we wiped down the counters and fridge, the bunk beds were not fully made and we had to spend an hour vacuuming spiders, bugs and webs that had been there for awhile as they were covered in dust. Bowls of food were found in some drawers in bedrooms. However, when the air conditioner on the second floor wasn't working, that was fixed right away!

Not so clean

Roaches. Dirty bathroom floors and dirty kitchen counters. The home was ok (a bit odd to for a room to have an elevator but no bathroom). We arrived Saturday and found the bathroom floors were sticky, kitchen counters were dirty, grill was a mess, roaches and spiderwebs and dirty decks. Called the property manager about the roaches and their comment was "do you want us to do, spray?" I want you to do something. They didn't offer a solution but asked what they should do. The maintenance person was nice and tried to be helpful but stated "this house is sprayed the most". He placed some roach traps. While we anticipate bugs near the water, there was more than we ever saw before in our nearly 30 years of going to the Outerbanks. Bed bug traps mysteriously arrived on our doorstop which gave us another thing to be worried about and was unsettling to say the least. Not sure who dropped them off but we have our suspicions. There was also a water filter that I inquired about but they seemed to not know anything about it. It is disappointing to spend a great deal of money and not have at minimum a clean home.

Fun getaway!

Good place to stay for our family getaway for 14, plenty of space for all of us to hang out together or separately indoors or out, kayaking and paddleboarding off the dock on the sound were great; as were sunsets from the hot tub! Enjoyed crabbing off the dock too. Plenty of lawn for afternoon games. Easy walk to the HOA pool and playground, short walk or drive to Bonito beach from the house too. Had a minor issue with a small kitchen appliance and the rental agency took care of it in a timely fashion. All in all a wonderful home to base our family vacation from!

Great Place

This house had everything we were looking for for an extended weekend stay after Thanksgiving. The biggest downside was the cleanliness. There were cobwebs in a lot of the windows and ceilings. It would just take the cleaners a few extra minutes to look up and clean. The downstairs bedroom was the worst. The mast wasn’t far behind. The decor and feel could use a little updating but overall a very positive stay.

Beautiful house and setting, but dirty and bug infested

This sound front house has all the amenities and location that you could ask for. The layout is excellent, the kitchen is well stocked and watching the sunsets from the deck was amazing. Check-in and check-out communication from the property manager was good. It is a shame that all of these positives were offset by the cleanliness of the house. Cobwebs everywhere. Decks, deck furniture and grill very dirty. Main TV did not have basic cable (Roku streaming only). All of this may have been tolerable if not for the roach infestation and the property management's lack of concern. Lesson learned is to complain immediately.

Very Peaceful

Our family enjoyed staying here. We were able to walk to the beach and just a mile up the road was food and shopping. We really enjoyed the 4x4 beach which is just a short drive. Will definitely return!! Thank You!!

Great family vacation

Beautiful home. Plenty of room for our 16 member family. Right on the sound for swimming or kayaking, etc. Very nice pool about a block away. Beach a very short drive away. Great location for all ages.

Great getaway

This is an overall wonderful house in a great location. Another reviewer pointed out that the sound drops straight into the water with no fence, and I agree that can be an issue with very small children. The elevator was awesome to have (goes all the way from garage to third floor) and we loved the upper floor (big kitchen, beautiful master). Appliances all work well. Some of the light switches need to be replaced as they don’t work consistently. The second floor was pretty basic but had lots of usable space. The second floor stays warmer than the rest of the house, and the lower floor with only one bedroom stays very cold. One bathroom on the second floor looked like it had sustained some water damage and probably needs to be renovated. The lower floor bathroom was quite small with a very small walk-in shower. The equipment rental credit was great to have. We also appreciated the attentiveness and responsiveness of the Ocean Blue staff.

Nice home in a beautiful setting

We stayed at this home for a wedding in February. It was exactly as shown in the pictures and I think in warmer months the deck and jacuzzi would be amazing (unfortunately our weather didn’t cooperate). Some parts of the home are a little dated but the master suite upstairs is incredible. We had a small issue with the fireplace but it was resolved with one phone call. Overall it’s a nice home in a beautiful spot.

Gentle Winds Holiday Getaway

Great house and location. Two things to consider 1. A smell on the bedroom level that could not be mitigated; 2. Not enough drinking glasses and dining room table space to accommodate Our family. We moved the deck table into the dining room for our stay so the 11 of us could eat together. The views of the sound were wonderful. Everyone enjoyed the fireplaces.

Seamless experience. The property manager was attentive consistently reaching out to us to make sure we were ok. I like that kind of attention to my needs. I would not recommend for small children because there is no barrier to stop small wandering children from falling into the sound

Great Experience for large groups

Spacious home with more than enough room for 7 children (ages 1-6) and 7 adults. It was an easy walk to the beach and a view off of the back deck. The Realty company was excellent as well. We needed the light above the hot tub fixed and they had someone at the house in an hour. Looking forward to visiting OBX again!
