This well-appointed, oceanside Corolla home (Ocean Sands, Section J) is perfect for family and group vacationing. Situated on a private cul-de-sac backing to trees; Located close to the beach, Ocean Lake, shopping, restaurants, and family activities. Enjoy the private pool (available in early May), hot tub, generous deck space, hardwood floors throughout, recreation room, and family-friendly touches.

Ground Level: Rec room w/TV, stereo with USB- and Bluetooth-ready audio, single sleep sofa, 42" plasma TV, pool table, wet bar, full bath. Mid Level: two queen bedrooms w/smart TV; one-bedroom w/2 Singles w/smart TV, one-bedroom w/2 Bunk Sets (4 twins) w/smart TV, two full baths and opens to spacious deck. Top level: hardwood floors throughout, king MBR suite w/private bath and smart TV, connected to screened porch; large great room w/55" LCD HD Smart TV, large couch, 1/2 bath, stereo, surround sound system with Bluetooth-ready stereo and opens to the large sun deck.

Well-equipped kitchen, dining area (seats 6), breakfast bar (seats 4) and opens to the upper sun deck with w/picnic table (seats 6) and screened porch with lots of seating and comfort.

Other amenities: 4-slice bagel toaster, griddle hot plate, blender, Keurig coffee machine, coffee pot, Wusthof knives, microwave, cutting boards; loads of cookware, drinking glasses, wine glasses, flatware, utensils; Central AC/Heat. Amazon Echo Show in the kitchen; Echo Dot in each bedroom; Nest thermostats (2), plus Ring doorbell and camera; Amazon Fire Stick in each bedroom TV. Keyless entry on the front door.

Corolla vacation

We had a wonderful Family vacation..the house was perfect for us. We enjoyed the beach and the pool..too hot for the hot tub. The pool area is a bit dated, but nothing effected our good time.Hosts were more than accommodating. Very responsive and a pleasure to work with

Looking for a family/friend group getaway?

Perfect size for our group. Plenty of sleeping accommodations. Clean nicely updated property. Decent size pool to relax in if you’ve had enough beach for the day. Beach is walkable but there also is a small parking area that was always available Owner is responsive and quick to provide a solution. We would stay again

The property was very dirty. The pool had a black ring around it. The couch smell like urine they had to have a cleaning company come out and clean the couch cushions. There was trash and one of the bunkbeds a Pringles cup, and a Coke bottle. The house was dirty and when we arrived, it smelled like a dead animal, which was a dead rat within the pool pump, so was not a good experience I think we should be compensated something back for how we had to stay there.

Great week at Tequila Sunrise!

The property was great for our family. 6 adults and 3 kids ages 2-5. The house sleeps 12 but it would be very tight, especially eating as the eating area is not very large, has only 6 chairs and there is no outside table and chairs for eating. The pool was great for our age kids but would be small for older kids. The house is well appointed and comfortable. The property is at the end of a culdesac so also very quiet. The host was very responsive to all our needs and requests. Thank you Terroll and Robin

Beach Getaway

Great time had by all! The house was perfect and accomodated the whole family. Plenty of room to move around. Nice walk to the beach. Shops and grocery store realky close. Great family vacation!

Nice week in Corolla

We had a nice time at the property - it could have been a little better cleaned but we still had a great time. Owners are super responsive and helpful. No issues with neighborhood - we've stayed all over OBX and this area was great for seeing Corolla.

Tequila Sunrise

The pool area was perfect! The beach was a ittle further than I would have liked, but it was walkable. There was 12 of us and there was plenty of room. The kids loved playing on the pool table and we all enjoyed the decks. The food market was extremely close along with other stores. My grandkids had such a great time, which is what it's all about.

OBX Corolla Tequila Sunrise

Although my family and friends (8 People) enjoyed our time there were many "small" things that all added together did make for distraction to being a great vacation. Pool area was in need of cleaning (weeds and junk in the corners). So much hair in the master bath that it wouldn't drain. Can light just fell out in the living room. WIFI was constantly going in and out. A couple roaches here and there. Beach umbrella broke on the first day. Walk to beach is a bit long. I think it was just a matter that the owners didn't visit the property enough to see what issues needed attention. All that said the owners were very responsive and did all they could to make it an enjoyable stay.

First time OBX’ers

The property was very nice. Needs a little updating in areas but clean and roomy with lots of ammenities. The owners were very responsive and kind and offered to correct anything that needed immediate attention. The pool and hot tub was nice to have and the walk to the beach was convenient a good 10 min walk. The beach is fine sand and not overly crowded but if you want a front spot you have to get up early and put your things down to reserve a spot before you go eat breakfast. They provided a wagon for travel back and forth which helped. We cooked 4 days and went out 3 and found everything we needed in the kitchen. We used the grill and it worked well. The house is Convenient to things in Corolla right in between two large supermarkets. We rode bikes we rented and were able to ride to many places in Corolla. Corolla is still our first choice of towns if we come back but the traffic in Duck definitely kept us in Corolla. One lane in and one lane out, traffic is definetly an issue. Overall it was a great experience. OBX is a very relaxing area and family oriented.

1st stay in Outer Banks

Nice house with plenty of room for ten adults - pool a real plus. Not as close to the beach as we thought but we managed fine. Hosts very responsive which was appreciated. Recommend this house for stay in Corolla.

Annual Guys Trip May 3-7

This was our 6th year traveling together as a friends group of motorcycle riders. The house was clean, location easy, communication with Robin was wonderful. We had a small hiccup at the beginning and Robin fixed it right away. Nothing that impacted our trip. Overall great place all around! Joe

Comfortable Like Home

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! :) Plenty of kitchen dishes, pans, utensils, and spices for cooking. Short walk to the beach and quiet neighborhood. Pool table and hot tub a definite plus!

Good Enough

While the hosts were attentive and apologetic with problems and the home itself fit our spacial needs, there is some constructive advice we would give for owners. As short term rental hosts ourselves, we felt the cleanliness of the home was lacking. Dust was stacked thick in some spaces such as the laundry room, and bathrooms (especially shower spaces) were in need of major deep cleans. The most disappointing spaces to us were the outdoor areas. All outdoor areas are in need of power washing, there was huge insect (flies, small spiders, seemingly poisonous spiders) in the pool deck area that was disappointing and made it hard to enjoy the space. Outdoor furniture had some mold on it, and some pieces were broken. Pillows and bedding have seemingly ran it’s course of time and should also be replaced. Kitchen essentials such as measuring spoons, beverage openers and Tupperware were missing, and there seemed to be an ant problem in the kitchen when we arrived. Though the cleanliness lacked, we did find the home to be in an ideal location and owners responsive when we had initial check in problems.

Great family stay (return visitors)

We stayed at this property last year for my birthday and had such a great time we decided to stay at the same property again. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. The high chair and play pen provided came in handy. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Absolutely no complaints about our stay, we were a group of 8 including 2 toddlers and an infant.

First Annual Family Vacation!!

Great house and location

The location is fantastic and only a 5 minute drive to everything you need. The pool and hot tub have a tall privacy fence around it, which is great for just relaxing. The walk to the beach is a bit long for carrying everything but we started having one person drive the equipment with some people to set up and then having the rest walk with very little to carry. The only thing I would emphesize is that we had to have a couple people sleep on the couch every night as the top bunk beds have a weight limit of 165, so unless you have small adults or kids to put up there, take that into consideration. Other than that and a few issues with some door locks, everything was clean and ready for our expectations and use. Overall a fantastic stay and a great price when split between everyone. Thanks to the owner for being so communicative!
