The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We really did not have time to enjoy the property. We arrived in the evening and needed to check out at dawn for a Naval event. There are several restaurants within walking distance to this hotel and we felt safe walking to dinner.

Heater had a bad smell like sewer when turned on so we slept in the cold. TV didn’t have connection. If you wanted early check-in, it cost $40.00. $10.00 a night for parking, with one night already costing over $345.00. CERTAINLY NOT WORTH IT. It was a dump. Potential stayers, beware!

The first room they put us was in really small and it shared a wall with the lobby and we could hear everything going on in there. We asked for a new room due to the noise and they changed us right away. The second room was slightly bigger and a little farther from the lobby. You could still hear everything going on in the parking lot though. Both rooms felt very dirty, we were afraid to walk barefoot on the laminate floor. The bed was made with only a very lightweight blanket between two sheets and the pillowcases were so light they were see-through. We also found a cockroach in the bathroom that night. Would not recommend staying at this property.

I’ll start with the positive: Easy parking super close to your room Cold little Refrigerator Nice shower Clean bathroom Negatives: The tv was difficult to access just said forget it! The canned lighting I COULD NOT get all the way dark so it was dimly lit all night. Overall this place is adorable cute little pool and bbq! I’d stay here again!

Nothing worked at their motel. TV, hot water and microwave. When we checked in we were notified that the room we booked wasn’t available. Had to stay in a smaller room as nothing else was available. Pool and spa closed, never notified about this until we arrived.

Our rooms have microwaves available upon request or there is one that is located poolside or in office. Our pool was not closed, and we do not have a spa at our inn. The property is close to the main road of Coronado and that is the only thing they have going for them. I wish they would take care of the ant problem in the rooms.

There was be heat in the room. Wall unit did not work. This is a law issue. It is considered a “livability issue” and one cannot be charged for it. There were no extra blankets in the room. Went to bed dressed in street clothes to keep warm. No telephone to call the desk for a blanket.’ Floor was filthy and had to wash my feet in the 2’x2’ shower before I put on my shoes. There was a one cup coffee pot but no cups, creamer, sugar substitutes. Shower head so high water hit at my head level. No hand held device. TV reception non-existent , the picture broke into pixels

Nicely appointed Comfy bed No exhaust fan in the bathroom..disapointed but they did supply a can of room dissinfectant spray Room seemed clean and well taken care of Floors were all new laminate, seemed clean until we took a shower and walked around in the room...our feet were black. Wifi & tv reception very sketchy & unreliable Overall a very nice stay

Good value, nice and clean, friendly staff
Staff were really nice and stayed late for our arrival on Christmas Eve night. Please was well located and nice and clean. Parking was great. Close to shops. Room seemed new and/or recently updated. No major issues, but a microwave in the room would have been handy. Also, the bed was very comfortable but the steel frame was slightly creaky! Would definitely stay again.

Probably best deal on Coronado! Helpful hosts, clean room and good coffee in lobby (not so much in the room). Would recommend.

After reading many reviews, we were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Coronado Inn! The staff were all absolutely hospitable and super friendly. The location is perfect with a bus stop right at the motel, or a quick walk down to shopping and dining at the harbor. It is also walkable to Coronado Beach but they have bikes you can use for the day. We had six hours to kill after checking out and before our flight and they still let us use bikes all day and held our luggage. The room was updated fairly recently, had a small fridge and coffee maker. The bed was extremely firm (just how I like it!) and heat worked well. The major things were clean (sink, toilet, shower, bed) but there could be more attention to cleaning to small things like baseboards and the crevices on the bathroom vanity. Overall, a very nice little place and would absolutely recommend if you are looking for a comfortable, affordable place to stay in Coronado.

With some help it could be really nice.
Hot water for shower is not hot enough. Stayed in the "suite", it has no closet or even a hook for clothes. Floor was dirty, turned the bottom of our socks dark. Bedroom TV did not work. Bed was comfortable.

Basic property. We stayed one night for a concert at Petco Park and this property was good for a place to sleep and shower with a reasonable Uber cost. Very, very basic bed, table, and tv. Could use a lot of maintenance in terms of appearance as the shower had patches that were covered with actual tape and the air conditioner unit was dusty af, but served its purpose as a place to sleep/shower. Definitely NOT worth the $226 we paid for one night, though.

Great Stay! Excellent value and pet friendly!
I stayed in the Coronado Inn with my two daughters and a pet dog and thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Great location within walking distance to restaurants, breweries, and the ferry dock. Very convenient, comfortable and charming. Our room had been partially renovated but nonetheless was very comfortable. Wonderful, helpful staff. The pool was a great way to cool off after a busy day. Overall, an excellent value for the price - I will definitely look into staying here again when in the area.
