Hotel a Cortlandt

“La salle de bain avait une mauvaise odeur d'égout. Plein de déchet d'insectes sur la fenêtre qui n'a pas été nettoyé malgré notre demande. Petit déjeuner sans fruits.”

“Scelto come tappa intermedia nella discesa tra Niagara e New York, anche per la vicinanza al gigantesco (e conveniente rispetto ai prezzi italiani…) outlet di Woodbory Common. Reception deprimente. Due palazzine a piano singoli e una palazzina a due piani. Tipico da serie telefilm 😅… Colazione pessima … Personale che si dà fare con quel che ha.”

“Like: convenient to train station and walking distance to downtown for dining, nice view of the river. Good shower water pressure and temperature. Dislike: property is old and needs updating. Rooms need renovation, including new mattresses and bedding, room darkening window shades/treatments. Closet was small and only half height (daughter’s dress pants couldn’t hang without laying on the bottom) and no iron/ironing board. Has a pool but was still covered at the end of June.”

“An old, classy hotel. Don’t know about the other rooms, but ours was small as such hotels often offer. Staff was exceptionally helpful. Both restaurants were great. Had a strange problem on our last morning where both hot and cold water in the bathroom were running scalding hot. The engineer had to come and “drain the system“ in order for us to take normal showers. Apparently something that can happen on very hot days for a certain group of rooms. Other than that, a very nice day.”

“While the first appearance seemed dull and unexciting (boring area), the hotel made up for it. Very clean, very quiet, and good complimentary hot breakfast in the morning. Beds were comfortable. Hotel honored my request for a quiet room away from the elevator. Good location to get back on the highway and very quick drive to restaurants etc. I’d recommend it - the only negative is the extra $100 that shows up on the charge without explanation. (Was auto removed within a day)”
