Hotel a Haverstraw

“Black spider in my bed. Switched to another room. Glob of hair in the shower drain and shower threshold. I was told the manager would give me a call after I checked out..... never happened. Wouldn't recommend. Newer property, expected more.”

“This motel perfectly corresponds to our needs: easy to be reached by car, large parking, comfortable rooms, good quality hot buffet breakfast included in the reasonable rates. Smart person at the reception. 5 minutes by car from the Hopper House (which is our reason to visit Nyack, NY)”

“The room had fresh paint and was clean. But it was in extreme need of an update. There were only two electrical outlets available to charge devices and furniture had to be moved to access them. The furniture was poor quality and had to be over 30 years old. The window shade and curtains do not block out the outdoor lights at night. And the local train goes by several times throughout the night. It was not a comfortable stay at Inn on the Hudson.”

“I gave it a 3 out of 5 because the facility generally did a decent job. Rooms were clean, desk agent was pleasant and helpful. While I expected a pet fee, I thought it was high and concluded that after our experience, they didn't do much to earn it. Plus, it was not easy to determine whether the hotel was pet friendly on the Expedia site and there was no mention of a pet fee that I could find and I actively looked. (I found a pet policy on the hotel website but did not know what the fee was...
