Hotel a Hillburn

“La struttura ai trova in una zona tranquilla da dove si puo raggiungere in circa 40 minuti New York con la macchina . Il parcheggio è comodo e c'è sempre qualcuno in reception che gentilmente è li ad assisterti se necessario. Le condizioni generali dell'hotel non sono ovviamente eccelse,ma quando si cerca il risparmio ci si deve aspettare che non si spicchi nelle cose che normalmente rendono un soggiorno piu costoso. Le stanze vengono rassettate ogni mattina e nonostante ci sia scritto chegli...

“The building is under construction, I tripped a couple of times on bricks and other items on the sidewalks. The luggage carts are all dated and the bag bars are loose and won't hold the bags. The housekeeping staff did towel and trash only and skipped one day completely. The bed was comfortable and clean. I was not able to locate the breakfast area due to lack of signage. “This hotel is very old and not well maintained. It is being kept clean inside but the furnishings and bathroom was very old. Also the outside maintenance is terrible: cracked sidewalks and parking areas not well paved. Fencing falling down. Also if you must stay here, request a room on the backside of the building because the highway traffic noise in the front is so loud it was almost impossible to fall asleep. On a positive note, the staff is very nice.”

“Our stay was over four nights. There was no breakfast as their restaurant had closed. I requested a foam pillow as I suffer from a severe allergy to down/feathers. I was told that the hotel did not have any. Throughout my extensive travels, I have never experienced this. One would expect the hotel to be more accommodating even to send a staff member out to buy a few pillows in order to protect their guests (This is not an uncommon allergy and can cause the throat to close.)
