  • Articolata su due livelli, Casa Bacco si apre nella zona giorno a piano terra composto dalla cucina arredata in stile toscano fornita di tutti gli elettrodomestici, una ampia sala da pranzo, un salotto con divani confortevoli ed una finestra panoramica sui tetti di Cortona. Un bagno con vasca e la lavanderia completano questo piano.

    La zona notte, al primo piano, è composta da tre camere matrimoniali ed un bagno con doccia. Anche qui lo stile del mobilio è semplice ma funzionale.

    Il giardino, uno dei pochi in centro storico, completamente recintato e in uso esclusivo, è sicuramente il luogo preferito dai nostri ospiti che permette loro di poter trascorrere del tempo in relax sorseggiando un buon bicchiere di vino.

Great house in a great location. Be aware, lots of hills. Local restaurants and bars are excellent and a good place to base yourself to explore towns such as Montepulciano and Siena

Cute place with garden

This is a great place! But it does put the HILL in hill town. So be prepared. Once at the place it is fantastic. The little garden is Lovely to sit in for breakfast and in the evening.

Paradise in Cortona

This home was outstanding from the moment we arrived. There were 6 adults and we had plenty of room to gather together. The courtyard is lovely for early morning coffee or evening wine. Close to everything that Cortona offers.

What a fabulous stay!A beautiful traditional Italian house with a lovely courtyard garden. The house is full of interesting traditional furniture, lots of space and a well equipped kitchen. All good sized bedrooms - with amazing views from one in particular.Two bathrooms - the larger one being on the ground floor (and very pink!) We stayed early June and the courtyard garden’s roses were in full bloom. Perfect for breakfast and an aperitif- also a sun trap in the afternoon.Located in a quiet street 10 minute walk from all the action in town. Also Perfectly located to walk to the top of the town and fort.Some reviews mention the hills - it is and Italian hill town so not a surprise!Tip; We used Taxi Cortona to collect us from the airport so they could drive within the city and drop us a few metres from the door - rather than lugging cases up the hills (yep it is hilly)Cortona is a fabulous place and we would recommend staying in this lovely house.We shall return.

Beautiful week in Cortona

This is a lovely property. Plenty of room. Well equipped with everything you need. The courtyard is a beautiful place for breakfast in the morning and wine in the evening. The flowers planted in the courtyard are beautiful. Please be aware that you must be able to walk up steep hills to get to this property. Of course, pretty much anywhere you go in Cortona is a hill.

Wonderful week in Cortona.

The house and garden are beautiful and cozy. The view from the den and upstairs bedrooms is absolutely breathtaking. It is very centrally located with quick access to the piazzas with shopping and dining, and it is just far enough up the hill to help you burn off all the wine and pasta calories, but not far enough up the hill to be difficult. The together in Tuscany team managing the place are very friendly and professional and made everything smooth-including getting a driver to and from the train. There is so much to see and do in this charming town that we should have stayed another week or two. I Will cheerfully return here in the future.

Spacious home with lovely garden

This home and the hosts’ service exceeded our expectations. We were traveling with four teenagers and the 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for us. The views from the upstairs bedrooms were fantastic, and we really enjoyed hanging out on the courtyard patio with its beautiful flowers and trees. We arrived late with a very large van, but still managed to park in a lot nearby. We had a lot of luggage, which made walking to the home uphill a bit cumbersome, but doable. The hosts arranged a porter to take our bags to the car on our departure. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you to Denyse, Isabella, Federico and the rest of the staff.

Casa Bacco is a comfortable, quiet, well furnished, spacious and well situated house that has been modernized and updated to high standards. What I especially enjoyed was being in the middle of a real neighborhood, hearing the neighbors chat, the children play, listening to the church bells ringing, and seeing the amazing sunsets over the Valley from the windows of the house. My best advice would be not to have a car because parking around Cortona is nearly impossible. I had to park my car a great distance away (which was fine, to a point, because once you're in Cortona you don't need to leave, and I was taking a two week language course at Polymnia). My stay was heavenly, and the people who manage the property were kind, attentive and always ready to provide assistance. The Church of San Francesco is a three minute walk from the house, and the nearest gelateria is only a six minute walk. A person doesn't need much more than that!

Dreaming of our return

Our two adult children who were studying abroad met us here with our younger two children. We had two nights in a 12 day stay in Italy. Of all our stops, this was by far our favorite. The house was like a story book. The garden was so lovely, we spent an afternoon eating and sharing a bottle of wine. We were here in November and the weather was very mild compared to Chicago winters. Most of the stores and restaurants were open with far less people. We weren’t really here to see anything, we were only here to be. We rented a car and drove here from Venice. We easily parked in a free lot before we entered the town. The uphill hike was funny and an adventure for us. We did our laundry and I happily hung it from the lines out the window (no dryer). I would stay in this home if you are looking for something relaxing and authentic. It is easily walkable to everything in this enchanting town. We moved on and enjoyed the rest of our trip, but under different circumstances, my wife and I could’ve stayed much longer. There was more than enough room for our entire family. The house was charming and well equipped.
