The Mossman River is a beautiful part of the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland - you can do a guided SUP tour down the river with Windswell Port Douglas, the best way to experience the rainforest and river, with lots of swimming holes and tree swings along the way.
Kulki Lookout is one of the best places to see the meeting point of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. It's such a wonderful sight. The lookout is a short walk from the car park at Cape Tribulation Beach and offers a beautiful view over beach - plus you get a lovely walk through the rainforest. The road from palm Cove to Port Douglas is about as close as you can get to the ocean without driving on the sand. Enjoy the view but drive carefully as you wind through the bends in the road (also don't swim...croc are about!). This was taken in January - the tropical rains come and go every few minutes.

You’ll spend the afternoon learning the traditional ways of the local Aboriginal culture and having a lot of fun doing it. You get to eat what you catch after.
