“My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel. The welcome that David and his family gave us was genuine Costa Rican hospitality. Everything was wonderful—the room with wooden furnishings and a terrace overlooking a spectacular view made the experience unique. The people are definitely what make this place special and your experience in Costa Rica unforgettable. Thank you, David, for the warm welcome and travel advice. My only regret is not staying longer at this hotel, but I will be back. Pura Vida!”

“Highly recommended location, I really enjoyed staying here at this family run B&B. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really nice, my room was great, very quiet and comfy. The gardens are lovely and there is a great little deck to watch the sunset. Although the place is down and unpaved road I was only in a tiny 2wd car and this (and everywhere else in the area) easily accessible, just take it very slow. Would definitely stay here again ”

“We reserved a room at this location, however we were switched to ZenZaru same ownership. At KiKaru the grounds were not maintained and the pool was unusable/not clean. When we arrived at ZenZaru the location was very inconvenient. You had to go down approximately 100 steps to get to the rooms. There is no reception area, no rest area/lounge. The room was recently finished but not complete. The bathroom/shower was large and comfortable, however the extreme hot water was not adjustable and poor...

“The property is very quaint, the rooms are large and fit our family of 6 just fine. The staff is great, the pool is amazing, and the views of the beautiful trees and wildlife were top notch. Each day a family of macaws would fly over the hotel while we were eating breakfast, it was breathtakingly beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel. ”

“I was thinking just a room with the breakfast included option for two people but it turned out they have a full kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The host and her daughter were super friendly and willing to help us out. They recommended a good local restaurants and our stay was very comfortable. It’s a nice location too. Close to the downtown but still very quiet. ”

Finding the place was a little difficult, as Waze didnt map it out correctly (initially I used Mountain Faro Hotel as it was named in expedia) so i had to stop and google address and remap with a different name. “It's clear why this place keeps getting great reviews. Excellent location - the bus stop at the end of the street means everywhere from the park to Quepos town is only 10 minutes away. But far enough out that it feels like another world, with just the jungle sounds for company. I also loved the aesthetic touches, like the mood lighting around the property. ”
