“I stayed here for business. It is close to John Wayne airport and a short drive to Newport Beach. While the immediate area is not the best, you have access to many desirable areas. The restaurant is reasonable and the food is great. I had the burger and the short rib tacos. I did arrive around 1pm and the staff seemed a little bothered that I was trying to check in. “We've been to LA before, and this was undoubtedly our best stay. We didn't want to stay near the tourist areas, as we already knew the attractions. This hotel is close to a large shopping mall and excellent restaurants, as well as very close to LA's best beaches, such as Huntington Beach, Corona Beach, and others. However, you'll need a car to get around, otherwise I don't recommend it. The hotel offers excellent value; the only thing it could do is include breakfast in the daily rate.”
