“I wanted a quiet place to stay & this was perfect. It was not only nice to hear the sea but to see it & wake up to the sun rising from it. The surrounding avocado orchards made for a nice morning stroll too. Mark & Fleur are very welcoming while respecting total privacy. Thanks you!”

“The setup was perfect for us, no problems, suited us well.The bookabach platform pretty much sucks though, I would not have been able to communicate with the owner at all if I had not got creative and found their contact independently - I would use bookabach again only as a desperate act of last resort. Good luck to you all.”

“The property is across the street from the ocean. At one end of the street are restaurants and bistros. A short walk (about 30 minutes) via the ocean walkway will get you to the downtown shops and restaurants. Very lovely. The unit is ideally suited for one or two people. The TV room is very nice and there is a work area with a pair of desks. As for the bed, it's very comfortable. The kitchen isn't set up for doing much cooking, but it was fine for what I needed. “What a fabulous beach with access along a dune walkway from the driveway - right opposite Whale/Moutohora Island. Lee-Anne’s studio was spotless, with a very comfortable bed and great shower. Perfect for our dog too with its small fenced garden. The photos don’t do it justice. ”

“Perfect spot to spend your stay in Gisborne. Kylia was super helpful without intruding on privacy. The room is really spacious and everything you need including a heat pump that kept the space really warm. We were there in a really cold few days in June so the only downside was the bathroom is in a separate area that is not heated. So bring some slippers if you coming in winter. It wouldn't have put us off staying here. ”

10/10 Eccellente

"Pulito, letto comodo, angolo cucina, bagno grande, ottima vista con patio direttamente con vista mare, ottimo prezzo e prestazione. Unico appunto, siamo arrivati due minuti dopo le 18.00 e non c’era più nessuno in reception. Non ci avevano inviato nessun messaggio e c’era solo un numero da chiamare. Ma come cliente straniero se sono senza roaming, magari un numero whatsapp faciliterebbe la comunicazione, usando oggigiorno tutti delle e-sim. Ma per il resto ottimo posto in cui passare una vacanza anche di più giorni."
