“The hotel has a nice location near a lake that's spacious with places to walk around. We didn't get to walk to the lake, but the room had a balcony with a nice view. The stay was relaxing, and the staff was very friendly. The dining area in the main building was large with a lot of tables. The breakfast had nice house made pastries. We would have liked more hot breakfast options, but overall it was good.”

“Our hosts - Matt and Kristi -were awesome. Very friendly, helpful with advice regarding Bar Harbor and Acadia. The Inn is beautiful -with an awesome view and easy access to downtown Bar Harbor - and very close to Acadia National Park. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend the Saltair Inn to all travelers.”

“Room was immaculate. Staff above and beyond. Feels like a community in respect to the shared kitchen; complete privacy iin each room. Chairs outside of each room to enjoy morning coffee with a pretty decent tree-filled view. As we left, the "owner's wife," (her words to introduce herself) asked if we saw the banana muffins she had made that morning. They looked delicious and she found a little bag for us to take one with us. I would stay here again in a heartbeat .”

“it was a good location, safe easy parking a decent place easy to check in. it rained so did not enjoy the pool close to highway --i mean it is bangor maine not NYC”
