Location was great. A lot weird rabbits haha. Had a message to host first night that for some reason didn’t get answered. Just simple questions about no dish drying towels, not enough coffee and filters to last for 3 days. Also didn’t realize the only way to use smart tv was to have a subscription service, which I didnt have any of those that are available.Plenty of privacy even while sitting on beach. Enjoyed watching the seals

Quaint cottage for two. Perfect location; 20 second walk to the beach plus 3 chairs at the beach overelooking the beach and oceanI would suggest repair of the platform at the beach as it is rotting plus secure the boards on the coffee table box in the TV room as they are potential safety hazzards; otherwise I would have given 5 stars

Beauty at the Beach

This little cottage was just so sweet we loved every moment of our time there. The layout was great, and sitting beachside with my coffee in the morning was bliss, being steps from Rathtrevor was the best!!!

Cozy

Perfect cabin for a cozy winter getaway. The gas fireplace was great. We had everything we needed. We didn’t realize this was a small cabin on the back of the lot and not right on the ocean. The pictures are deceiving. There is a small view from the cabin but it’s not steps away as the picture let’s on. Thankfully no one was home in the main house so we still felt we had privacy. Overall a great stay.

Close to the beach and extremely quiet. It is like a home away from home. Nice cozy ambience. It was a cottage well equiped with all the basic necessities including good quality shampoos and handsoaps.

Little Piece of Paradise

This charming, clean, well maintained and comfortable cottage is the perfect home base for a Parksville area getaway. It is tucked back in a calm and quiet corner of a waterfront property and is only steps from the water. Ideal location with easy access to the many area attractions, but you’ll want to spend plenty of time right at the cottage!

Parksville Cottage near the sea.

Very nice cozy quiet cottage. Can’t beat the location! Beautiful beach and walking trails Was a bit disappointed on initial check in from what I had expected. As per the photos we felt the cottage was “on” the water, but rather is tucked in the back corner of the main property. Still very beautiful and private and would recommend as well as stay again.

Sweet spot for a couple or single

I stayed here with my son and we had a wonderful stay, enjoying the beach and the provincial park next door. But we did not realize the pull-out bed was not included in the rental and when inquired about sheets was surprised the renter would not provide any for the pull-out bed. Luckily there were some sheets in the back bedroom that we were able to use. Note that the hot tub is also not for guests use, nor is the rowboat. Understandable. If it was just me or me and my wife I would stay here again.
