Dear MarkWe are sorry that you did not enjoy your experience with us. We have examined your villa and cannot find any eveidence of bed bugs as you have claimed and have never received such a claim ever in the past. The Hamilton has two pools and one was out of service because of a difficulty in getting a part after the Easter weekend. However the 140 foot pool was fully operational and only about 50 years from the other pool. Dear Not on Expedia, Thank you for making mention of our great little team here. We're really sorry about the mosquito issue. If a door gets left open for any length of time, especially at dusk, they can be real pests. And we feel terrible about the water issue. The Nevis Island Government Water Department usually provides excellent purified mountain water and is reliable with supply. Not so last week as you found out. Again, we apologize. Dear Anonymous, First, thank you so much for your kind words about our staff and the property in general. We all feel terrible about the water issue experienced when you were here. The island water department determined to do upgrading of their infrastructure close by to The Hamilton, which caused us to unexpectedly lose supply. We certainly appreciated your patience. Regarding our cable television, indeed it is nothing like options provided on the mainland. But I sure like our beach! Probably 25% of our channels are in Spanish because we do have a significant Spanish speaking population here on Nevis. I can only apologize for your other issues at this point. Hello Sidney, Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I think it fair to say that our bedrooms and bathrooms are not large. The developer determined to create large living spaces for our units, both indoors and out. I sometimes wish a few extra square feet had been assigned to the sleeping areas, but at the same time, our guests do indeed appreciate the spacious living spaces. There are quite a few things to see on our little island, and quite a few good restaurants, most within 10 to 15 minutes of The Hamilton. We do take pride in our laid back atmosphere and our quiet, uncrowded beach. I'm really glad you and your father had a great low key holiday with us! Thanks again!
