Informazioni su questa struttura

Denton Go Cabin #5 | Denton Hill State Park

  • 🏕 Welcome to Denton Go Cabin #5 — Our ADA-Compatible Cabin at the End of the Road

Cabin #5 is the most secluded of our five Denton Go cabins — the last cabin on the road, tucked deepest into Denton Hill State Park for guests who want maximum quiet and privacy. It's also our ADA-compatible cabin, built with ramp entry, roll-in shower, safety bars, and ADA-height switches so guests of all abilities can enjoy a true state-park cabin experience.

    ♿ ADA-Compatible Features

    - Ramp entry to the cabin (no stairs)

    - ADA-height light switches throughout

    - Roll-in shower with safety bar

    - Toilet with safety bar

    - Roll-in kitchen sink

Note: this cabin is ADA-compatible, not ADA-certified. Some kitchen cabinets and dishware remain at standard height, so guests with mobility needs may want a helper for certain reach tasks.

    🛏 Sleeping Setup (Sleeps 6)

    - Master bedroom: Queen bed + 48" HD smart TV

    - Guest bedroom: Queen-over-Queen bunk + 43" HD smart TV (sleeps 4 in real queen beds, not twins)

Comfortable beds, clean linens, smart TVs in both bedrooms, and plenty of room for families or small groups.

    🛋 Living Area

    - Seating for 8 — sofa for 3, bar back for 3, plus 2 side chairs (room for everyone, plus guests)

    - TV with streaming apps

    - Cozy cabin atmosphere for movie nights or board games

    🍳 Kitchen + Dining

    - Fully stocked kitchen with cookware, utensils, and dishware

    - Coffee setup for easy mornings

    - Dining space for meals, cards, and planning the next day

    🛁 Bathroom

    - Full ADA-compatible bathroom — roll-in shower with safety bar, toilet with safety bar

    - Fresh towels + starter toiletries

    🔥 Outdoor Space

    - Fire pit area for s'mores and stargazing

    - Firewood provided

    - Note: grills are not permitted in the state park, but the fire pit includes a grill surface for cooking

    🐾 Dog Friendly

Up to 2 house-trained dogs are welcome (no cats or other pets). No pet fee — just please follow the house rules for cleanup.

🌌 Dark Skies + Easy Day Trips

Cherry Springs is about 20–25 minutes away, with additional parks and trails nearby for daytime exploring.

🚙 UTV / ATV Access (Important Info)

Big advantage: you can ride straight onto the PA UTV/ATV trail system right from the cabin road. The Denton Go rental lodge is just 100 yards from Cabin #5 — so even our most secluded cabin is a short walk from UTV rentals. The UTV featured in our photos is not included with the cabin rental — UTV rental information is sent to guests after a booking is confirmed.

    🗓 Trail Season (Fixed Dates)

    - The PA UTV/ATV trail system opens Memorial Day Weekend and closes the last weekend in September — these dates do not change.

    - UTV rentals are only available during this window.

    - Outside this window, the trail system is closed due to weather and land management.

    Bringing your own machine?

    - Totally fine to bring your own UTV/ATV

    - Just note:

    – Trail access follows the same seasonal schedule

    – Outside of that window, you'll need to trailer to approved riding areas

We'll send full details on how to book rentals with Denton Go after your reservation is confirmed.

📍 Which Cabin is Which? (Quick Reference)

Our five Denton Go cabins sit along a single private road inside the state park. From the entrance:

    - Cabin #1 — closest to the entrance and the Denton Go UTV rental lodge

    - Cabin #2 — second from the entrance

    - Cabin #3 — middle of the row

    - Cabin #4 — fourth on the road

    - Cabin #5 — at the end of the road, the most private and secluded (this cabin)

If you want maximum quiet and distance from foot traffic, Cabin #5 is the one — and even at the end of the road, it's still just 100 yards from the rental lodge. If you want to be even closer to the rentals, Cabin #1 is your match.

The host and the cabin are most excellent! Great place to stay to check out the different parks and sites in the area. Not very private from the other cabins and the road noise is there but neither of those things should keep anyone away. It is a totally worth staying here. They also have off road vehicles to rent with great trails to ride. All good stuff.

The cabin was clean, cozy and very well equipped. Games and snacks were provided but we were most impressed with the availability of red flashlights for star gazing. The cabins are pretty close together which is the only drawback. 9/10 would definitely recommend
