Questa incantevole dimora splendidamente restaurata si trova in cima a una collina con splendide viste sui dintorni. Nel parco di 13 ettari sono disponibili per gli inquilini tennis privato (veloce), piscina riscaldata riscaldata (12X6), tennis da tavolo e giochi all'aperto. Questa casa, fin dall'inizio, è stata progettata come luogo di riposo e relax. Nelle immediate vicinanze della casa, sono disponibili diversi spazi ben tenuti e sufficientemente attrezzati:
Per mangiare all'aperto, un grande tavolo di legno (12 persone) si trova vicino alla cucina. Un barbecue è disponibile (grigliate anche nel camino della cucina). Un altro tavolo di legno (8 persone) si trova accanto alla piscina.
Per la passeggiata, un romantico vicolo in mezzo al bosco dove, a seconda della stagione, è possibile scoprire finferli e funghi porcini.
Per gli amanti del cibo, gli alberi da frutto, la maggior parte dei quali sono tornati allo stato brado, ti offriranno prugne, fichi, pere e mele del passato.
Per gli atleti sono disponibili tennis privato (veloce), piscina riscaldata riscaldata (12X6), tennis da tavolo e giochi all'aperto.

La struttura dista 2 km dal piccolo villaggio di Coulounieix. Lì troverai una panetteria, un piccolo caffè e un mercato agricolo che si tiene ogni domenica mattina nella piazza della chiesa.
A 7 km scoprirai Périgueux, l'antica Cité Vésunna e le sue vestigia gallo-romane.
È la capitale del Périgord, classificata come "città d'arte e di storia" con i suoi vicoli stretti fiancheggiati da case private, i suoi quartieri protetti e la sua cattedrale di Saint-Front, classificata come patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO dai modi di Santiago de Compostela.

Nel raggio di 30-50 km puoi visitare Brantôme, la "Venezia del Périgord" e il bellissimo castello di Bourdeilles o anche quello di Puyguillhem ispirato ai grandi castelli della Loira. Puoi anche scoprire i siti preistorici più famosi come la grotta di Lascaux o anche esplorare il vigneto Bergerac che si trova a sud di Périgueux.
Il Périgord, tradizionalmente famoso per il suo patrimonio naturale e storico, è anche famoso per la sua gastronomia. Una vasta scelta di ristoranti e mercati vivaci durante tutto l'anno ti garantirà una scoperta completa.

What a place!

We have travelled to many towns in this beautiful part of our planet, from groups of 6 (my family) to much larger groups with friends and family groups - this place was epic - service from start to finish - Pascal was around when we needed him, the house and grounds were perfect - the kitchen facilities one of the best for a large group (we were 14) - the Tennis court was a brilliant option to have and use - bike rides (tough hills) are wonderful - would definitely return, for more relaxation/ sun/ food/ wine and a place to create and shre wonderful memories - oh and the local boulangerie/Patiiserie! outstadning 10/10 from us - merci bcp

Un manoir au charme authentique

Expérience inoubliable pour notre petit groupe de 10 personnes ( famille et amis ) durant 2 semaines dans ce lieu d exception . Tout est pensé jusqu au moindre détail , et rien n est oublié … Terrain de tennis , piscine , ping pong, parc magnifiquement entretenu propice au calme , à la lecture , plusieurs «  spots «  pour déjeuner ou dîner, cuisine pratique , chambres spacieuses … Merci Pascal pour votre accueil , votre sourire , et vos très gentilles attentions !

Een prachtige plek om met ons hele gezin vakantie te vieren. alle spullen waren aanwezig om te tennissen, tafeltennis, tafelvoetbal badminton te spelen. En als klap op de vuurpijl een heerlijk warm zwembad. De kamers en bedden waren perfect. En er waren zoveel gezellige zitjes in huis en in de tuin, waardoor kinderen en kleinkinderen zich heerlijk hebben vermaakt. Het huis was schoon en alles deed het perfect. De bakker in het dorp en de super U op enkele autominuten. Perigueux is een leuk stadje.

Beautiful and comfortable historic property

It is rare to get the opportunity to stay at a property that has this much history yet all modern comfort and design & art that will blow you away. The original structure of the manor is from 1590, but there are also remains of a Roman building and there were finds from prehistoric times on the site. It was the perfect spot for exploring the region- the medieval castles and prehistoric caves, and all the culinary delights. Pascal was the perfect host; very responsive and ready to help with everything. We were a group of 10 staying for a week. Everyone really adored the place. We didn't really use the swimming pool as it was not very warm weather, but my teenage sons and nephews loved the tennis court-- they had never played before and now it has become their thing. I highly recommend Chef Jauvin- you have to hire him for at least a night. We were at a really nice restaurant in Perigord-- L'Essentiel-- but we actually preferred the dinner M. Laurent prepared at home. I wish I could share a picture of the cozy setting he prepared in the main dining room. I have rented many houses and apartments, but nothing this special. It's like a curated space. I wish we could have spent more time - one week is not enough to explore the region. The highlight was the cave of Rouffignac (recommended by Pascal- real caves with pre-historic carvings, not the replica shown in Lascaux) and a canoe trip on the Dordogne from Carsac to Beynac. Canoe Loisirs were great. Overall a fantastic trip.

highly recommend

A unique country home in a picturesque setting with plenty of space for the family. The home is well appointed, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is VERY well equipped. The pool and tennis court are a plus. There is a lot to see and do in the area and Pascal was generous with his recommendations and quick to answer any questions we had. The on-site catered dinner was a highlight. A car is essential.

La propriété bénéficie d'un cadre remarquable, à l'extérieur nous avions l'impression d'être peu nombreux alors que nous étions 12 car il y a multiples possibilités d'activités ou de repos. L'intérieur est somptueux, bien décoré, bien garni de livres et de jeux, la vaisselle est largement suffisante, la literie est bonne; nous nous sentions tellement chez nous que nous avons très peu visité les environs. Pascal est un hôte très prévenant et attentif qui, à l'arrivée, nous a offert un superbe panier garni de produits locaux et nous a indiqué l'excellent boulangerie du bourg dont nous avons bien profité. Il est très probable que nous y retournions une autre année.

Amazing house

We really loved this house, having visited many French holiday properties over the years we think this was our favourite. It ticked all our boxes; it was comfortable and clean and really beautiful. It had a well equipped large kitchen, masses of outside space, including a number of dining tables, lots of TV channels plus music in kitchen and upstairs bedroom. The pool was big and deep, there were puzzles, games, books, films, table tennis, tennis court, badminton. Our adult children were always occupied. It was only a short drive to the bakery in the morning plus nearby supermarkets, however we were far enough away from neighbours to make as much noise as we wanted. Pascal our host was very responsive and helpful. The ONLY negative was the hornets, there were quite a few around so we tried to keep the doors and windows closed of an evening. In saying that they just flew to the ceiling and didn’t really bother us. Certainly wouldn’t stop us returning. There was a fig tree just outside the kitchen that was maybe attracting them- we ate so many beautiful figs though so that was a positive!! Everything else was spot on and we would definitely return. Thank you for sharing your house with us Pascal.

First class accommodation

Right from the initial booking process, communication from Pascal, the owner, was smooth and with instant replies, Pascal speaks very good English. Pascal was more than accommodating to our needs, and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. The house is in a beautiful setting with extensive wooded grounds which was perfect for both children and adults . The property is isolated, but well secured and in easy reach of local facilities.. We particularly enjoyed our daily visit to the nearby award winning boulangerie.The pool is large and well maintained. The gardener Daniel, who visits three times in the week is very helpful. One of the highlights of our holiday was a private chef recommended by Pascal. We highly recommend this service. It was an excellent meal for adults and children. The chef was excellent in catering for individual dietary requirements. The house itself is beautiful decorated ,spacious, well furnished and really well equipped . Overall , eight adults and six children had a brilliant holiday. Thank you Pascal, we highly recommend your property.

Une propriété qui vaut vraiment l'essai

Nous avons séjourné durant le WE de l'Ascension au manoir de Plague, pour le bonheur des petits et des grands. Nous avons apprécié de pouvoir nous retrouver à 3 couples de quadra avec nos 9 enfants dans un cadre très accueillant. Chacun a pu se reposer et se divertir grâce à la piscine, au cours de tennis, au baby foot, au ping pong... Nous nous sommes si bien sentis que nous avons renoncé à sortir pour trouver d'autres activités. Les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie est de qualité, les pièces sont accueillantes, la propreté est excellente, l'électroménager et le barbecue sont parfaitement adaptés à le cuisine pour 15 personnes. La prestation est largement à hauteur du tarif. Je recommande.

Familieweek ivm 50 jaar huwelijk

Prachtig landgoed, goed onderhouden, met een uiterst sfeervol ingericht manoir, inrichting geheel conform het gebouw en sfeervol dus geen moderne strakke meubelen maar mooie antieke meubelen Verder wel voorzien van alle hedendaagse apparatuur. De ontvangst door de gastheer was buitengewoon vriendelijk. Hij was daarnaast zeer behulpzaam, spendeerde een hele zondagmiddag aan hulp en begeleiding toen 1 van de kleinkinderen ivm een valpartij naar het ziekenhuis moest. Een zwembad met ligbedden, tennisbaan, badmintonveld, tafeltennis, tafelvoetbal en heel veel boeken, dvd’s, cd’s en overal op het terrein zitjes. Normaliter is het huis alleen voor slapen en af en toe eten maar hier zijn we de hele week maar één keer weggeweest buiten boodschappen, het landgoed bood iedereen genoeg, we moeten nog eens terug voor al het moois in de omgeving. Wij kijken op ons verblijf terug met heel veel tevredenheid en vreugde en de gastheer verdient een 11 uit 10 Fam. Beijk

Perfect holiday

We were a mixed group of 5 adults and 5 teenagers. The house had the perfect selection of rooms for all of us. The pool is big and has steps down in to it, and was cleaned and taken care of by the gardener who came three times in the one week we were there. The house was immaculate and a maid also came in the middle of the week. There is a tennis court, table tennis, table football, woods and a lovely garden to spend time in. The property is lovely and full of history whilst having modern bathrooms and a kitchen with everything you may need for cooking at home. A 'prize winning ' boulangerie is in the nearby village where we bought croissant, chocolatines and fresh bread every day - absolutely delicious! We had breakfast in the garden every day. Perigeuex is nearby and there are supermarkets etc within a very short drive, and horse riding and canoing too. We could not have chosen a better or more beautiful place to stay. One week was not enough! Thank you to Pascal, the charming owner, for his excellent taste and beautiful home.

Fantastic Experience

We stayed for one week in April 2022 and the whole experience was perfect. We were delayed arriving and Pascal the owner was so accommodating and kept in touch throughout the stay to ensure everything was ok. The house is amazing with so much character, from the big open fires to the lovely spot down by the pool. We were a big party of 4 adults and 8 children and there is so much space to explore everyone had a fantastic time. We hope to return one day !

Ein Märchenschlösschen mit verwunschenem Park

1. Buchung und Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter: Der Buchungsprozess über FeWoDirekt lief völlig reibungslos. Die Angaben über das Objekt sind ausführlich, vollständig und zutreffend. Schriftwechsel und Telefongespräche mit dem Vermieter Pascal Magontier waren immer sehr angenehm und in äußerst freundlichen und entgegenkommenden Ton. 2. Anfahrt: Die Anreise von Süddeutschland verlief, wie auch die Abreise, in verkehrstechnischer Hinsicht völlig ereignislos. Die Streckenführung in Frankreich erlaubt die Vermeidung der Umgebungen größerer Städte, als keine Staus. Am Zielort findet man das Haus ohne Schwierigkeiten mittels der Wegbeschreibung des Vermieters. 3. Ankunft und Übergabe: Nach einer kurzen Strecke über einen geschotterten Waldweg erreicht man das, über Funk bedienbare, Eingangstor zum Grundstück. Parkplatz ist überhaupt kein Problem, man kann die Fahrzeuge so abstellen, daß die Wege bei Be-und Entladen nicht weit sind. Dennoch hat man sie nicht ständig im Blickfeld, weil sie außerhalb der Umfassungsmauer stehen. Die Übergabe ist eher eine sehr freundliche Begrüßung mit einer ausführlichen Führung durch das Haus und den Park. Schon dabei fühlt man sich wie ein Schlossbesitzer, der nach längerer Abwesenheit vom Verwalter begrüßt und über das Haus unterrichtet wird. 4. Aufenthalt: Das Haus und der Park sind sehr gepflegt und beeindruckend. Die gesamte Technik ist aktuell, dennoch spürt man überall den Charme vergangener Zeiten. Sowohl im Haus als auch im Park findet man verschiedene Möglichkeiten alleine oder zusammen die Zeit zu genießen. Speziell zu nennen ist dabei das Schwimmbad, der Tennisplatz, eine große Wiese zwischen Haus und Schwimmbad und natürlich der größtenteils bewaldete Park mit einigen romantischen Plätzen zum Liegen und Schlafen oder zum Sitzen und Lesen. Tische und Stühle für Mahlzeiten im Park stehen gleich am Ausgang der Küche und im Park unter einem großen Baum, dort sogar mit eigener Beleuchtung. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist entspricht dem Schlosscharakter. Alles ist in ausreichender Zahl und in solider Ausführung vorhanden. An einem Tag kochte der vom Vermieter empfohlene Koch mit seinen beiden Mitabeiterinnen für uns. Das landestypische Menu und der Service haben uns begeistert. Wer wollte durfte in der Küche unter Anleitung mitarbeiten. Das 7 jährige Mädchen in unserer Gruppe und 2 Erwachsene haben mitgemacht und haben viel über Zutaten und Zubereitung gelernt. Für uns war es eine sehr glückliche Zeit .

Epoustouflant

Le charme incroyable de cette demeure ancienne, rénovée avec talent, et hyper-équipée est à l'image de la Dordogne : un rêve éveillé ! le conte de fée du manoir se déploie avec grâce dans une clairière agrémentée ici d'une grande piscine, là d'un tennis, et de nombreux salons de jardin qui sont autant d'invitations a découvrir le parc sous un nouvel angle. Que du bonheur !

Wundervoll majestätisch!

Unsere Erwartungen wurden noch übertroffen! Wir können den vielen positiven Bewertungen nur zustimmen: das Herrenhaus samt beeindruckender Parkanlage mit Wald inklusive riesigem Pool und Tennisplatz in absolut ruhiger Abgeschiedenheit ist einmalig. Man fühlt sich wie ein Schlossbesitzer in der Vergangenheit mit allen Vorzügen der Gegenwart. Im Haus gibt es viel historisches zu entdecken und die Küche lädt sofort zum Kochen ein, auch mit den Dingen, die auf dem Grundstück wachsen (u.a. Pilze, Gewürze, Mirabellen, Feigen,…) oder aus dem Präsentkorb mit heimischen Produkten zur Begrüßung (heutzutage nicht mehr selbstverständlich). Es gibt sehr viele Spielemöglichkeiten für die ganze Familie vor Ort (Croquet, Riesen-Mikado, -Domino,…), sogar die Tennis-, Tischtennis und Badmintonschläger sind vorhanden. Vor Ort ist es noch schöner, als die Fotos vermuten lassen und man kann herrlich vom Alltag abschalten, sei es bei Spaziergängen in Park und Wald oder in Hängematten, auf Schaukeln oder unzähligen Sitz- und Liegegelegenheiten am Pool, im Innenhof und im Wald. Auch wir haben uns verliebt! Merci beaucoup Pascal!

Sommer 2021

Ein herrliches Anwesen mit traumhaften Grundstück ! Der Pool wurde sehr gut regelmäßig gesäubert und war damit sehr einladend. Tennisplatz einwandfrei nutzbar - von uns regelmäßig in den Abendstunden bespielt. Gartenanlage und Haus entsprachen in vollem Umfang unseren großen Erwartungen und Pascals zuvorkommende, freundliche und charmante Art und Weise hat den Aufenthalt wunderbar abgerundet. Wir kommen wieder !

Excellent séjour, cadre très agréable avec beaucoup de caractère et de classe

Très bon accueil du propriétaire. Echanges très courtois et très positifs sur un plan culturel. Le cadre est superbe, vaste domaine convenant parfaitement au repos et à la détente. Le manoir a un charme indéniable. Ni bling bling, ni ringard. Il est tout à fait aisé d'en prendre possession. Les lecteurs et les clients cultivés seront ravis d'y trouver une bibliothèque abondamment fournie!

Magnifique manoir idéal en famille

Nous avons tous, petits et grands, beaucoup apprécié le manoir de Plague, avec sa grande piscine et un terrain de tennis impeccable. Les chambres sont spacieuses, et la cuisine très bien équipée. idéal pour un séjour en famille ou avec des amis. Belles ballades aux alentours.

Que du bonheur !

Magnifique propriété que nos petits-enfants appelaient "le château" et où ils avaient hâte de rentrer lorsque nous partions visiter les environs. Il y a suffisamment d'espace pour contenter tout le monde avec quatre salles de bain privatives. Nous nous sommes pris pour des châtelains le temps de nos vacances ! La piscine est grande et le parc est immense. Bref, ce fut le paradis, sans parler de la gentillesse du propriétaire. Ne pas hésiter à faire appel aux talents du chef qui se déplace à domicile, prépare de délicieux repas, servis sous les grands arbres, près d'un immense figuier.
