Royston Roost a Courtenay!

Nuovissima bellissima suite di lusso situata su 2 acri privati. La nostra suite ha un nuovo letto matrimoniale, un piccolo divano per guardare la tv, un angolo cottura fornito (frigo bar, forno a microonde, tostapane, macchina per il caffè, bollitore, fornelli (senza forno), stoviglie e posate assortite. Abbiamo un tavolo da bistrot e 2 sgabelli nell'angolo cottura, bagno in 4 pezzi, con vasca da bagno indipendente, doppi lavandini, ampia doccia e terrazza privata con vista sulla splendida catena montuosa Beaufort. La suite ha il suo sistema di riscaldamento e aria condizionata in modo da poter controllare la temperatura. Ingresso privato e ampio spazio per riporre in sicurezza le mountain bike, i kayak, ecc. A pochi passi dalla spiaggia, pub locale, storico percorso a piedi della ferrovia e minuti per mountain bike e altri ottimi servizi.

Laurie and Scott's unit met all expectations. Very clean, good layout and excellent location in the Courtenay / Cumberland area.The fresh free range eggs were a nice bonus!Thank you for helping make our stay in the area a great experience.

The area is very quiet, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a hot cap of coffee watching the landscapes every morning.

Absolutely spotless with running and biking trails down the street. Private and quiet- lovely suite with everything you could ask for.Very comfortable bed. Laurie and Scott were excellent hosts and very helpful. Thanks for a great stay !

Royston Roost was fabulous! We enjoyed everything about it—from hanging out on the balcony and listening to the crickets chirping to watching some TV in the air conditioned space after a day of being in the sun. The bed was comfy, the towels fluffy and we enjoyed having two sinks in the bathroom. We used the available hot plate to cook up our fresh eggs for breakfast. Laurie was super friendly and helpful.

Felt like a vacation stay

Beautiful home in a quiet area

Very nice and cozy room. Friendly owners. Kitchen is not a full kitchen but good enough for easy meals and breakfast and there are very good owner suggestions for nearby restaurants. Good base for sightseeing the area and relax in the evening.

This is our 2nd time. It’s clean, well laid out & beautiful. The bathroom has a huge tub & separate glassed-in shower. The bed is very comfortable. There is a great view of the mountains from all the windows. Laurie gives you six eggs from her chickens. Only drawback is that it’s upstairs. We’ll stay again.

Very cute, clean suite. When the a/c wouldnt work, scott was quick to remedy the problem. Comfortable bed and awesome sheets. I do love the feel of good sheets!

Great stay at The Roost

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Royston Roost. The suite is tastefully decorated and everything is in pristine condition. The view from our private balcony was beautiful and peaceful. Laurie and Scott were wonderful hosts and always available to answer questions. We loved all their pets and appreciated the free range eggs. We look forward to our next visit!

Very clean and nicely equipped. My only complaint was the small barking dog the owners have downstairs. We heard him at night for small amount and in the morning while I think the owners were away.

Swanky yet cozy

Royston Roost was awesome! We stayed 4 nights and tried to stay 1 extra night but couldn't. It was booked. No surprise there. We were welcomed with fresh eggs from the girls. We also had fresh coffee creamer which was really welcomed, as we arrived quite late and were unable to pick up creamer on our way in. The next morning was saved! There's a lot to do and see and we still didn’t see everything we wanted. I guess we'll just have to come back again!😉

Very cute accommodation!!

We’ve stayed here before and love how peaceful the area is. Lovely house and we enjoy being greeted by the chickens. Royston is very close to Cumberland, Comox and Courtney and is a beautiful area.

We enjoyed this lovely condo for 4 nights. It rates even higher than 5 stars! Everything about it was wonderful! Spotless, great linens, kitchen stocked with basics like coffee,cream,sugar,etc. easy check in, owner lives below in the house so is readily available if needed. One slight downside- stairs going up to the suite, some may find them difficult. But a true gem! Thank you Scott and Laurie!

Property was extremely well maintained and the unit was impeccably neat and tidy. Stairs into the unit could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. All queries were answered in a spontaneous fashion. The eggs in the fridge, owners chickens, were a nice touch. We would go back again without hesitation.

Wonderful getaway

The room at Royston Roost is spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you might need for your perfect getaway. It is in a quiet neighbourhood but still close to towns such as Cumberland or Courteney. The owner is very friendly and helpful - we were even treated to some fresh eggs from their free ranging hens. Thanks to Laurie and Scott for providing this wonderful home away from home.

Such a cute unit in a peaceful setting!!

We’ve stayed at this VRBO before and liked it so much we decided to stay again. The unit is tastefully decorated, the bathroom is stunning and there is a perfect sized kitchen. The fridge was stocked with fresh eggs and real cream to have with your coffee. A real plus is having parking right outside your door and being greeted by chickens and the most adorable small dogs you just have to say hello to. The Lindt chocolate was a real treat and we highly recommend staying at Scott and Laurie’s place.
