“Caravan is lovely and comfortable, though can be noisy in stormy weather, though otherwise it's a quiet location. Drive is quite steep for parking. Fantastic views over Loch Long. Access drive is a single road, is quite steep in places and it can be tricky to find the caravan.”

“This hotel is really run down. Needs a coat of paint & major overhaul. Nothing looked like the pictures. The location is great & the front desk staff are wonderful. So, at least it has that going for it. Breakfast quality was disappointing. Some random buzzer was being tested the 1st morning & woke our young grandkids up. No warning on the buzzer at all. ”

“Staff did the best they could and were extremely friendly but the overall stay was a big let down. We quite understood that our room would not be ready before the specified time but, as the website had mentioned a snack bar/deli we thought we'd spend some time there. Unfortunately it had closed some time ago. Although there was comfortable seating in the reception area it was freezing. We subsequently discovered that the hotel is only heated for an hour or two in the morning and again in the...
