“We spent 4 wonderful days in a stunning property situated on a hill with a panoramic view of San Jose. The house was extremely beautiful and well-maintained, with cleanliness evident from the moment we arrived. It was fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the most delightful experiences was the pool, which was always clean and maintained at the perfect temperature. Nothing compares to the moments spent in the water, admiring the volcanoes in the distance – a...

“We stayed for one amazing night at Tree house El Rio. It is a real tree house built on two massive trees. You can hear the river which is right out the front balcony. and you are fully immersed in nature. While on our visit we saw scarlet macaw’s and toucans flying and perched in the canopies on the property. Donna from the butterfly sanctuary is absolutely amazing and is full of wonderful knowledge and stories. We really enjoyed our stay on the property. We stayed with our 3 young...

“The location was the only good thing about it. It said parking on the property, but it was in front of the house. We parked in the empty lot next door. There was trash in the bedroom and the bathroom shower walls were dirty. She sent the cleaning lady over, but she said it was stained. We were glad the bedroom had air but she said it couldn’t be lower than 24 which is 75 f to warm in already stifling hot weather....

“The property itself was quite nice and the beach is great. However, we were battling cockroaches the entire time. We probably killed around 12 roaches. And we left bread on the counter for an afternoon and it was covered in tiny bugs. This is our mistake too, but the bugs were just too overwhelming. The owner is very kind and communicative. The only downside is the war on bugs during our stay.”

“Muy linda casa, bien equipada con todo lo necesario para pasar una bonita estancia! Paulo excelente anfitrión siempre atento a lo que pudiéramos ocupar!”
