“The restaurant and bar closed at 9pm. It was march break , so, Pretty early. The hotel was packed apparently so why wouldnt you be open a little later. . This place could definitely use an upgrade . Staff was kind . Stay was underwhelming.”

“The Grotto Spa has been updated & is beautiful. Loved the assortment of saunas. Close by Coombs Market & Englishman’s River Falls and Parksville seaside beachfront park are a must see!! ”

“What a wonderful place to stay- great for couples and families- loads to do- giant connect four, volleyball, badminton, wood fire pits and propane ones, sauna, pool table, free mini golf and a lovely coffee bar. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the view is spectacular! We will definitely return!”

“Our room must have been situated beside a utility room as there was noise all night that sounded like a clothes dryer with shoes in it. And then in the morning at 6am a loud delivery truck right outside our window, beeping and banging as the hotel restaurant received its order. Not restful at all! ”

“Clean room. Staff was excellent. Nice to have pancakes and variety of bread inc white and gluten free, bacon/sausages/ham etc. ”

“Great views. Staff were great. Issue with the hot tub the first night there but was fixed the second night just too crowded to use. Large spacious rooms - very clean. Beds were quite squishy. Could be updated. ”

“Great location, nice and quiet. Suggest blackout curtains for the patio door as the lights of the outside units can’t be turned off so the room isn’t dark at night. Other than that we loved it, small And cozy. ”
