Lakeside living awaits at beautiful Lake Milton, OH with dock across the street

Come stay in comfort at Sunrise Cottage and enjoy all that Lake Milton has to offer. This lake is perfect for fishing, swimming, tubing, and waterskiing. Guests are encouraged to visit local restaurants, wineries, brewery, and golf courses and with area grocery stores, creameries and even a local pharmacy Lake Milton will soon be your home away from home.

Sunrise Cottage is a perfect lakeside getaway to be enjoyed with family and friends. This 3 bedroom home features 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and 1 bunk bed + trundle bed and will comfortably sleep 4 adults and 3 children.

The spacious kitchen boasts all of the comforts of home including gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, food processor, mixer, water filtration pitcher, cookware, utensils, etc.

Two relaxing family rooms with smart TV’s will allow you to connect to your own streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Amazon, etc.). Wi-Fi is also available for use on your own devices during your stay. If you’d like to have fun the old fashioned way, the cottage is also stocked with plenty of board games!

You can beat the heat with ice-cold central air, or enjoy the great outdoors on the spacious patio, porch or while spending time around the fire ring or at the dock! Charcoal and gas grills are both available for those who love to cook outdoors.

BYOB – Bring Your Own Boat! Private dock space is available across the street from rental. There’s plenty of room to park vehicles, trailers, etc. as well. Directly across the street is access to Lake Milton’s public boat ramp for easy access to all this beautiful (unlimited horsepower) lake has to offer. Nearby Lake Milton State Park also offers boat / jet-ski rentals, volleyball and basketball courts and a well-maintained beach. We do supply two kayaks and a couple adult life jackets for you to use during your time here. If you would need a child's life vest we ask that you please bring that with you.

Additional amenities include hair dryer, iron, ironing board, and linens so you can make yourselves right at home. We do not allow pets or smoking and guests will not have access to the garage or basement.

Our Christmas stay was fantastic, convenient for visiting our family and friends (Lake Milton, Newton Falls & Austintown). The house was clean, ready, and well decorated. Kitchen is stocked with all the pots, pans, plates and silverware you could need. My 2.5 year old and I loved the bathtub, very relaxing after a long cold day. Communication with the Host was easy and clear throughout our stay.

This is one of those places that you don’t want to leave a good review for so that the others don’t book it when you want to go back…exceptionally clean, exceptionally thoughtful and homey, and very spacious beautiful and relaxing setting. Everything you could possibly need or want and then some is there and available. Safe, quiet community with basic amenities and restaurants nearby if needed. The lake access is wonderful. We have family nearby and this will be our go to stay if available. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We LOVED our stay. Everything was perfect. This was the most supplied rental we have ever stayed at from cooking (oils, spices, bag of ice) to bathroom supplies (shampoo, conditioner) to firewood & filled citronella torches. Not only was it a well supplied house the morning sunrise from the front porch was my favorite part. We will be staying again. Thank you!

First, the lake view is worth staying and then adding on how clean and smartly decorated, well this place gets a 10 out of a possible 5 stars. We loved everything about it. Thank you for the snacks. You always need sustenance at night. lol. We have to come back and stay here all weekend. We had the Balloon A-fair in Ravenna so we didn’t get to use the yard, but need time we are just settling in at the lake for a weekend of peace and quiet.

The place was perfect! Very clean, great location. Wineries , Hiking and fishing were all close. We spent most of our evenings relaxing at the fire pit. The additional welcome basket with restaurant suggestions and other activities topped it off. Thanks for a great weekend !

We have stayed here for the past several years . The house is very clean and the owner has thought of everything . They have a snack box that my grandkids love . Such a thoughtful idea . The location is amazing . The boat dock is easy to get to and we have brought our boat every time .

Our stay was absolutely fabulous! We arrived late at night and were pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was and we were able to fall right into clean cozy beds! Everything was spotless and comfortable. There were so many thoughtful amenities that it's impossible to list them all. Some include a wonderful welcome basket that included snacks and drinks; kitchen necessities from cooking and cleaning basics to ice; bathroom basics including clean towels, blow dryer, toilet paper, hand soap; bedrooms are charming and comfy. The entire place has a relaxing lake vibe. There is a clean laundry facility with soap that makes it great for a longer stay with a family. A firepit with chairs and a garden with veggies to use! All right across the street from the lake with plenty of public access! The owner was very accessible and accommodating. We really couldn't ask for more and are already planning our next stay! Thank you so much for everything! Our pics really don't do it justice!

We fell absolutely in love with this place as soon as we walked in the door! It was super clean and the kitchen was perfect! The decor was fitting and beautiful. I had tomatoes with my dinner from the cute little garden that’s out back of the house and we had s’mores in the evening as we sat around the firepit. Booking was a breeze and April answered my questions promptly. We look forward to booking for our next trip to Lake Milton.

Another lovely weekend at the lake! I appreciate how clean it always is at this home. The access to laundry is great after a day boating or at the beach with kids. There are so many amenities available and the owners clearly take pride in their property and being great hosts.

The property was exactly as listed. By far the cleanest house we’ve stayed in and the layout was excellent. April was really quick to get back to us and super easy to work with. Best Time Ever

My partner and I were in Ohio for a family reunion. Most of the family stayed at hotels in Warren, but we wanted to find someplace on the water. I started to do some research on the VRBO website to see what I could find. Enter Sunrise Cottage. We were literally directly across the street from the lake and the boat ramps. I would wake up every morning and sit out on the front porch and just take in the beauty of it all. The first day we arrived, we were able to access the inside of the property with the very easy to use key pad. Thanks to the great communication from April, we were able to get the code from her several days before our arrival, so there were zero issues getting inside. The cottage had everything we needed and more! The kitchen had all the utensils and pots and pans we needed for cooking meals. The bedrooms all looked exactly like they did in the pictures, so there were no surprises there. April and Tim provided us with all the entertainment we needed, from cornhole to boardgames, we were able to find plenty to keep us entertained. They were kind enough to include a welcome basket consisting of snacks, brochures from local spas, places to eat, and the marina. She even had bottles of wine! Red and white, depending on what you like. We opted to go down to the marina and rented a pontoon boat for the day. We thought it would be fun to invite some of the family out for a ride around beautiful Lake Milton. Discovered the beautiful beach.

Great cottage across from the public ramp

The house was well stocked with everything we needed, including a large amount of pots and pans to cook everything we needed. House was clean, wifi worked great, TVs were already set up for streaming, and the fire pit worked out perfectly.

4th of July

The house was amazing. We stayed during 4th of July and April made it super cute!! Plenty of games and activities for our little kids! The house was super clean and well stocked since I forgot a couple things but the house had it, so that was a relief. Looking forward to booking again for next year! Lakeside convenience

The house is very clean, including the baseboards and all of the nooks and crannies. We enjoyed our stay! We also walked down the street to the dollar general store a couple times. The neighbors are friendly.I brought my own kayak and fishing poles. It is convenient to be able to put your boat in across the street as well as fish off of the private dock.

We loved this house! Good/easy communication with hosts. A nice location with a view of the lake, on a quiet street, and easy freeway access. The place was nicely decorated with a lake theme and everything inside very cozy. Kitchen had everything needed to cook. We would definitely stay here again!
