Anna is a lovely person and a wonderful hostess. We only stayed one night, but did so in complete comfort. Beautiful room, beautiful grounds, beautiful people!

A great place to stay as close to the gardens and properties we wanted to visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay plus the rooms were very comfortable and clean.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse. It is in a beautiful area and the grounds are lovely. Our room was excellent, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding and we enjoyed the addition of tea every afternoon. Anna and her team are awesome and we recommend this property highly!

Within walking distance of Sissinghurst Castle and very peaceful with lovely views of the High Weald. No secure bike stand Breakfast service could have been better - it was slow, forgot toast and forgot sauce which was ordered. Not good enough for the amount paid to stay there.

Fantastic stay
We were very plessed with every aspect of our stay, a lovely comfortable room, great breakfast and home baked afternoon cakes. Very friendly helpful staff and a very quiet peaceful location. Would love to return sometime.

Two night peaceful break
Excellent welcome tea scones mince pie and cake served from 4 till 6. Very helpful and pleasant hosts. Good breakfast. Excellent peaceful location. Room exactly as described. Everything done to a high standard.

Lovely setting
Really lovely B&B in the grounds of the Sissinghurst national trust property. We stayed in the Maplehurst room which had a lovely outlook over the countryside . The bed was very comfortable but the pillows slightly hard for our preference.

Excellent stay in every way
Setting most tranquil and serene. Very professional and friendly reception with great food prepared by a gifted chef. Views from bedroom of castle and rolling countryside. Local pubs/restaurant walkable through orchards and fields.

Wonderful Two Night Stay
Lovely welcome and tea and cake immediately available (4 til 6pm). The Farmhouse has very comfortable, very spacious rooms. Delicious breakfast. Locations is brilliant for Sissinghurst Castle and many other tourist sites in Kent and E Sussex.

Not Covid safe and awful attitude
The first day was lovely-friendly welcome, with tea and cakes. Room was clean and fresh and the breakfast the following morning was lovely. However on our return to our room after our morning trip out we found that our room had been cleaned, our clothing moved and the cleaning staff were not wearing masks.we’d booked the bnb specifically as they said on their website that once you checked in they wouldn’t enter your room to maintain Covid safety and as I’ve been shielding this was extremely important . When we spoke to the owner she tried to blame us for not telling her we’d been shielding! She also said they’d recently changed their cleaning routine (but hasn’t told us when we checked in). I was so upset by their attitude we left.

This was an unfortunate misunderstanding. Sadly we were not informed that the couple were clinically vulnerable. Our policy is to keep our guests safe which involves appropriate social distancing and to respond courteously to all our guests. We do room tidies after consultation with our guests which now in almost every occasion is requested. As we come towards the end of the restrictions, all our staff have been double vaccinated and are regularly tested. The incidence locally is now at negligible levels.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. Richard and Anna made us feel very welcome. Our room was extremely comfortable and spacious, we slept so well. Breakfast was fit for a King Highly recommend staying here.

Calme absolu, B&B d'excellent confort.
Ambiance très cozy et très British pour cette gentilhommière très confortable et parfaitement calme, dans le cadre historique du château. Lits excellents, salon très agréable, service très dévoué. Excellents petits-déjeuners. Salles de bains un peu exiguës mais bien équipées. C'est mon deuxième séjour de plusieurs jours. Voiture conseillée.

Séjour de charme à la campagne !
Ambiance « Château à la campagne » dans un bel environnement; accueil charmant; propreté parfaite; chambre confortable; thé et pâtisseries offertes à 16h. Le plateau-repas du soir est très généreux mais toujours le même si vous séjournez plusieurs jours. Internet sans faille. Je recommande pour les adultes. Voiture indispensable !
