“Liked the location and comfort. Did not think much of the to go breakfast or virtual hotel clerk arrangement when checking in and the fact that there was no one physically present in the office area.”

“I really enjoyed the location since it is right on the beach. However, the property was a lot more worn down than the pictures showed. Everything is outdated. The exterior needs fresh paint and the grounds don’t look maintained. The room was clean and suited our needs. But the beds and furniture look old and outdated too. I definitely expected more given the price. It is summer so the price per night is on the higher side right now.”

“Wonderful host who was very welcoming and tried to make sure we knew how to get around (visiting the Redwoods!) Very close to Jeremiah Smith Redwoods... Fresh eggs in the fridge straight from the flock downstairs! The Hideaway is a great, secure basecamp for spending a couple of days in the redwoods.”

“By far one of the better motel experiences I've had. Stayed in a Motel 6 the night before and could clearly tell a difference: room felt cleaner, was larger, and the shower didn't have stains. Lots of parking available too. I also appreciated the light breakfast offered with fruit, cereals, juices, milk, coffee, granola bars, and toast.
