“Nice location on the beach.”

“The location was perfect, right on the beach. The property was quite dated, in various states of disrepair. Our air conditioning was not functional, which was a problem given allergies of several in my party. The front desk was staffed by teenagers who didn’t seem to know how to handle requests. Having said all that, the location was lovely and the restaurant on site had wonderful food and attentive staff.”

“Wonderful host who was very welcoming and tried to make sure we knew how to get around (visiting the Redwoods!) Very close to Jeremiah Smith Redwoods... Fresh eggs in the fridge straight from the flock downstairs! The Hideaway is a great, secure basecamp for spending a couple of days in the redwoods.”

“By far one of the better motel experiences I've had. Stayed in a Motel 6 the night before and could clearly tell a difference: room felt cleaner, was larger, and the shower didn't have stains. Lots of parking available too. I also appreciated the light breakfast offered with fruit, cereals, juices, milk, coffee, granola bars, and toast.
