“The Archer Log Cabin was sweet and comfortable with a full kitchen, bath and laundry. It even had a little desk in the laundry room. The bed was comfortable . We only used one of the two bedrooms. The surrounding woods were peaceful. We enjoyed hiking on trails in the state park and hope to get back sometime in the winter to cross country ski. We appreciated the coffee . We will be back. It was a quiet place to rest and refresh.”

“The property is on Wheeler Lake, which is a great lake for fishing and watersports. There's a sandy public beach nearby that you can visit for $5 per person, and the boat launch is fairly close. Lakewood is five minutes away. The cottage is older, but has been nicely remodeled with two newer bathrooms, a modern kitchen and numerous other updates. All bedrooms opened up to the main living space. The cabin was well stocked with cooking supplies, extra linens and pillows.
