Ideal North Shore stay

Our family of three enjoyed a week stay at this clean and comfortable property. The cottage has a beautiful view of Lake Superior, and a spacious floor plan with all the comforts of home. It is secluded yet close proximity to Grand Marais, hiking trails, and local breweries and winery. The outside area has ample seating with a fire pit, and is ideal for relaxing and star gazing.

Girls weekend getaway

We stayed in this cabin for our girls weekend Friday- Sunday. We had a campfire both nights - all the wood for the fire, chairs, marshmallow sticks, etc were there for us to use which was so nice! We used the kitchen for a couple of our meals, and all dishes we needed were in there. Everything was very clean and well maintained! It is close to so many parks/waterfalls/trails etc. so that’s what we did all weekend was explore and relax and this cabin and the location of it were perfect for our little girls weekend getaway!

Cozy and perfect

I stayed in Cabin #1 the first week of 2022, looking for a quiet retreat, time and space away from a hectic life in the city. The cabin is super simple but had everything I needed, including a fabulous view of the ever-changing lake. Special thanks to the owners and their son who helped get my car unstuck from a snowbank up the road! (I was staring at the waves and drifted off to the side, ha!) They went above and beyond. I'll definitely go back and have already recommended this to friends and family.

Lovely Property

The cottage was clean. The views were great. The owners were friendly and thought of everything.... outdoor furniture, fire starters and wood, things to do in the cabin. We’ll be back.

Great Off-Season Cottage

Winter Getaway

It was a wonderful family getaway before Christmas. All the comforts of home plus a great view of Lake Superior from your living room and bedroom. Our family enjoyed a wonderful fire in the outside fire pit overlooking the lake and then a short drive to Lutsen to ski!

Wonderful stay at a beautiful property

The cottage was well laid out and equipped, the gas stoves were a nice touch, though the one in the bedroom was loud when it started up. The views from the main bedroom and the living room were awesome.

Cabin on the Big Lake

Very nice and neat. Everything was clean and ready to go as our headquarters for the stay in Grand Marais. We would recommend this lodging for anyone staying in the area. Great accommodations. TSM

lovely cottage

Lovely cottage on Lake Superior

The cottage was quaint, clean and had awesome views of Lake Superior. It was a lovely place to relax and get away. It was an easy drive to the town of Grand Marais.
