“Great location. Friendly staff. Good food and drink choices. Site is lovely with lots of space to sit and enjoy scenery. The room was basic, which would have been fine had it not been let down by poor house keeping. Beds and towels were changed and that was it. There was an orange film on shower tray which we scrubbed off. There was a goo under soap the whole time. Glasses which were used and dirt in first day remained in room dirty the whole time. “Bad start with very tough beef strogonoff but recompensed without debate. Clean and comfortable but dining chairs could do with re padding. Tough 9 hole golf but swimming pool has limited capacity and I missed out. Good breakfast.Useful location near Railway station and plenty parking. Just needs more a bit more effort but enjoyable.”
