Our hotel carpet was damp and needed a dehumidifier in the room as it smelled musky and there was food left in fridge from previous people that wasn’t cleaned out, but as soon as I notified the front desk they were most apologetic and came to clean it right away and was adamant to do something about a discount on the room.
